        FYI R89 ROM is missing features like brightness and contrast adjust in display settings. My HPH 1.0 ROM has those.

        I keep getting invalid package.
        I have made 3188 update.zip files no problem! So RK changed something wither with the keys they used to sign zips, or the update binary in META-INF from 3188 will not work on 3288.

        I have not tried it by booting into recovery I have just been using the built in update (it sees when update.zip is on sdcard and asks if you want to install it). This always worked on 3188.

        Anyway, if you make any update.zip progress let me know but I have a feeling we need Oman to give us the keys or META-INF folder for 3288.

        Oh and good news ive trying to get my paws on a HPH for these reasons. Will try and flash your 1.0 ROM to the R89 this evening and let you know if I brick it! Lol

          I have mny doubts it will work.

          I just tried my update.zip using stock recovery and get "signature verification failed". This was using google keys and update binary (META-INF) from 3188.

          Also recovery the keyboard or mouse DO NOT WORK. The only way I was able to manipulate the recovery menu was with a IR remote. Arrows work but enter is the power button on the remote.

          So recovery is using some other keys than google keys! I will see if I can rip them from recovery and make new keys.

            I have a big grey cloud of doubt over me, this is mainly to try and get clarkss box back up and running, I don't know if having TWRP will help in flashing the zip I've made, I'm not sure how reliable it is as don't think abdul_pt has reworked the partitions on it yet, although not sure if this matters in this sense, one thing I do know is that all air mice , keyboards and wired mice I've tried function correctly within TWRP so that's something...

                I got the correct keys
                No longer "signature verification failed"
                BUT it seams so that they change also the update-binary (I also took the one of rk3188 cwm)

                                OK I got update.zip working... Thanks no_spam!!!
                                Different set of test keys.

                                However after applying the update it keeps rebooting into recovery and installing again.
                                the clear_misc command does not seem to be working.

                                But making progress
