Have you played with the sound settings in xbmc? Are you using hdmi for sound?

yes i have tried settings i use hdmi worked when using for android xbmc my mx2 box with OpenElec on linux on it pass audio and vidio though on it so Armada Mach 8 box must going on trying to pass video through hdmi when trying to change setting it won`t let me into audio and video menus for couple minutes locks up then unfreezes lets me in tried pass thought on and off make no difference i rebooted many times video seems ok with addons i tried

getting no signal with new update 27th

total xbmc Mk1

Beta 2 seemed to install fine but I get a very quick splash logo S802 flash up then black screen
tied flashing 3 times same result tried different tv another lad on forum having same trouble but 1 lad has it working same boxes
it installs fine goes through and completes without errors
installed followed these instructions
1. Remove SD card (with the rom files on it) Note, these are the files INSIDE JM's download.
2. Use toothpick to get into stock recovery.
3. Insert SD card with all JM's files on it.
4. From recovery menu, perform factory reset.
5. From recovery menu, wipe cache (yes, again)
6. Select Install update from Ext, navigate to rom zip and install
7. When installation is done, do another factory reset from recovery.

Power off and restart.

Try going back to android using finless 1.7. Then try again. Setting resolution to 720p before shutting down finless.
