5.0.3 only shows two cores working also. Maybe it's only set to have 4 cores working for gaming.

Hope I'm wrong about the cpu comment.
The kernel will be updated only if Amlogic will release an updated kernel. Most likely Kodi shows wrong info about CPU.

Aeon Nox shows right info and also while playing a video press the letter O if you have a keyboard. It'll only show 4 cores working.

I have another OpenELEC Linux on my box and it shows 4 cores working. The MX2 will only show 2 cores working since it's a dual core.

Amlogic 6.95.x builds will be released after each official release of 6.95.x by OpenELEC team.

I assume by the replys that they are all working then. Sorry to have brought it up. Let's just hope amlogic release something like 3.18, I'd love the dvbsky s960 to work on these boxes. Keep it up mate your a legend

Not so quick job. It requires new build.

What box? Please when reporting a problem mention what box you are talking about, so I'd not ask every time.

I use dvbsky960 with minix x8 h plus. I add driver my kernel part and that's working no error.
That problem based amcodech and other kernel part of amlogic. Some channels hd and sd have no erors with openelec, openpctv and android. Some hd channel stutters . Mpeg2 channels frame skip.
a big problem of amlogic mpeg2 video quality of pictures very bad (hw decoding with amcodech) than other dvb receiver.
Indeed all chinese minipc cpu video pictures guality (mpeg2) very bad but Cheap

Sounds like there are a few minor bugs to iron out before I consider updating (still running 5.0.3 with 14.1 Helix on my M8 box, which is virtually flawless) but thanks for the update codesnake.

                            Hi taki

That for the info. I wouldn't know where to start for compiling drivers into a version of openelec. I'm sure it will get supported on these boxes eventually.

Thanks i know how to use Linux and might give ita try. I'll try to follow your instructions and also find a tutorial. I think one of the biggest downfalls of these devices is that there are no tutorials for beginners to having a go. Maybe if there was more info with how to's then these boxes maybe might have more people working on them. I've read forum after forum and there are people asking ask the time how to do stuff.

Sorry for the rant but just my opinion, would just be nice to have a forum on people wanting to learn to work on images. Boxes are becoming the thing now.
