After that, all is automatic.

First of all you need to ensure you have the 1.1.6 Android firmware installed (http://wiki.matricom.net/i/MX2_Firmware). Then download the OpenELEC at https://github.com/codesnake/OpenELE..._MX2-4.2.1.zip and put it onto SD-card. Insert the card into the box and enter recovery using toothpick method. Select Install from EXT->sdcard in menu, then select the downloaded archive. Once the installation process is complete, reboot the box.

Have a look on my installation on CSM8 2GB/16GB and back to the "problems" I've enumerated.
For the first, concerning the IR remote, even if I success to have remote reconized by my box, now with the new version bb377b3 the remote.conf usage is really easy ! Thanks for that codesnake.
After that, as a lot of key was not operationnal, I finally success to work my remote with the extension Keymap Editor, so I've set mine like this :
Code:<keymap> <global> <keyboard> <key id="127185">select</key> <!-- OK --> <key id="61449">back</key> <!-- Return --> <key id="61952">fullscreen</key> <!-- 0 ou 2 (oui, c'est la même touche :-//yes, the code is the same for 2 keys)--> <key id="61576">contextmenu</key> <!-- Home --> <key id="61474">togglewatched</key> <!-- 3 --> </keyboard> </global> <fullscreenvideo> <keyboard> <key id="127185">playpause</key> <!-- OK --> <key id="61576">osd</key> <!-- Home --> <key id="61661">audionextlanguage</key> <!-- Play/Pause en bas à gauche/bottom left --> <key id="61448">nextsubtitle</key> <!-- BackSpace (en bas à droite/bottom right) --> <key id="61478">stop</key> <!-- 1 --> </keyboard> </fullscreenvideo> </keymap>
I put in attachment, the remote.conf for CSM8, and the mapping for its remote.
You just have to unzip them into the share "ConfigFiles" via network browsing (SMB) on your OpenElec box.
Then, connect to your box in SSH with Putty, and once connected, just type :
Code:cp /storage/.config/gen.xml /storage/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps/
Your remote is now OK.
The second problem I had, was the bluetooth ... but anyway, no need, forget it.
The third was concerning video quality.
Now I've stop drug, sleep a little, unglue my nose from the screen and take a normal watching TV position ... it's perfect and the quality is stricly the same with other ROMS (Stock, Finless, etc ...).
So ... THANK YOU CODESNAKE !
But, all is perfect for me are you saying ?
Well ... almost.
The last point a little bit annoying, but I'm pretty sure that there is no solution is concerning the Power Button on the remote. It shut the box, but I can't wake it up after that ... except by unplugging the power supply.
Hummm ... and in addition, in the list of mini-problems, and without having any idea of why it didn't works correctly, I can add the fact that all keys of the remote aren't reconized by the box.
Really don't know why ... but for exemple, the 4 colors buttons on top are not working at all, neither the << and >> just below them, nor Menu and Mouse buttons.
I also have some different buttons which transmit the same codes ... disturbing, because all this buttons worked correctly with the original or Finless ROMs.
For memory, this is my remote, and below there are codes that the remote send.
Code:Key Code returned Mute 61623 File Not Functionning TV Not Functionning Web Not Functionning Set Not Functionning Vol- 61624 << Not Functionning >> Not Functionning Vol+ 61625 Home 61576 Return 61449 Up 61558 Left 61570 OK 127185 Right 61571 Down 61559 Menu Not Functionning Mouse Not Functionning 1 61478 2 61952 3 61474 4 61479 5 61480 6 61485 7 61952 8 61535 9 61952 >/ll 61661 0 61952 BckSpc 61448
Does someone have an idea concerning this misfunction ?
Now it's time to go to bed ... for me.
Good night et see you soon.

Any ideas?
