The only update is the support for HDMI CEC.

      Okay, thanks again.

Last question: do you foresee any performance increases on your M8 ROM in the future? Works perfectly for me aside from the sleep/wake problem, just wondering.

No I don't foresee any significant performance increases.

Is spidf audio option there ?

As selecting any setting above 24 hz via my amp using hdmi gives me black screen for a few seconds so would like to connect to TV direct but set audio via optical out to amp

It should work out of the box.

No worries, thank you for your help. This is easily the most accomplished ROM I've tried to date, keep up the good work.

You don't need to change anything. It outputs to HDMI and SPDIF at the same time.

                      WIFI Dongle.

If anyone has a wifi dongle they can try out, please let me know if it works and what brand model it is.

Codesnake added support for some but at least with my Edimax wifi dongle I get nothing.

Maybe I am doing something wrong and maybe the Edimax is not one of those supported with the driver update.

                      Thanks.

Just out of curiosity, why use the Edimax wifi dongle instead of the wifi embedded in the M8?

For me, wifi on m8 is not the best it can be. Other reports have also shown this. I am just wanting to make my m8 as best possible.

Works decent when close range to router but after that it drops too much and not good.

                              thanks.
