Rebuild OpenELEC from sources with any librtmp you want.

Since yesterday opensubtitles addon doesn't seems to work anymore, subscene's one does work thought. Is this the same problem you have?

I tried installing firmware Openelec for M8 but i keep getting error message and i have got v 0.92 PCB by ENY

Error message i get during installation is
E:footer is wrong
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted.


Can some one help please?

Have you unzipped the files? There should be three on your SD card, not one.

You don't need to enable anything, it should work out of the box.

I too have issues with cec. My Peripherals option is greyed out. LG Tv here.

You do not have to enable anything in XBMC peripheral settings, but make sure to enable SimpLink on your LG TV.

Also, try using a different HDMI cable.

In my case with a Samsung TV this is what worked. With what ever other HDMI cable I had, it did not work. Changed HDMI and it worked.
