Looking to flash that TV110 file to my amslogic s805, is there a step by step guide on how its done and how to back up my current setup that came with the box just I case I want to revert it back?

Use TWRP recovery program to make a complete backup of your box and you can restore it to go back to what you had. You'll find TWRP for TV110 in the Other AMLogic forum here. You put it on SD card to use it.

To flash OpenELEC, either flash the update.zip file from a recovery program installed on SD (e.g twrp) or extract the other .zip package to SD and access recovery and it will auto flash. Thereafter just put the .tar file in \\openelec\update share and reboot to upgrade to a new version.

audio issue using openelec gotham build in m8

Hi,
I am using codesnake openelec gotham build in my m8 .
using AFL addons in https://code.google.com/p/xbmc-catchuptv-au/
audio doen't play and video plays with skipping and fast forward itself.
any setting i need to change in openelec so that i can audio and video works .
I udpated to kodi version OpenELEC-Amlogic.M8.arm-4.97.3,same issue.
any suggestion please.

Anyone elese having problems with the m8 remote double pressing buttons, have tried altering the remote.conf file in .config to increase a delay in repeat press but doesnt seem be altering anything.

Had a similar problem using helix rc3.

In audio settings, change audio configuration to "fixed" and see if that fixes it.

Really fast is a stupid statement. Openelec is fast but not faster from another developer....

So please spam somewhere else....

My thoughts exactly.

I would like to make a general request to all that have found other builds that are 'Super L33t', please tell about these somewhere else. This is a thread concerning the Codesnakes builds, not the people that 'borrow' the code without consulting the creator and than taking creds for some minor changes.
