I use Boot Anination Creator to make my own bootanimation.zip. The images are all 1280x720.

My TV stick is a Measy one using Finless Measy U2C 1.4.

All the things seems to be fine and, my stick boots well into the system. The only problem is that it first starts up into the vertical screen (portrait) for about three seconds and then changes back to the TV default horizontal screen (landscape).

It boots normally when I copy its original Measy boot animation.zip to system/media.

Could you guys give me a little help?

If your says

then it may do what your seeing.

I don't think it's the case, Bob. Mine is:

1280 720 15
p 0 0 part0

I have read somewhere in this thread in which the user was insisted that he had changed something else, so got this error. I HAVE NOT changed anything.

I have a Rikomagic MK802IIS and i want to flash it with the finless ROM 1.7B from imito Mx1.

I wonder if its possible to put a bootscreen says "RiKomagic" insted of "Imito MX1" and one of the images in this topic.

It´s possible do that ??

ok, let me work on that . i like to make custom animations so it will be along those lines .

i'll post back when it's done . sometimes i get really busy tattooing so . it could be a couple days .

no all you have to do is replace the animation itself . it's very easy . i posted the instructions here in this thread i believe . but if you have any problems just ask .

Ok i will search for the info in this thread.

If is so simple as that make the animation without any description of the version if possible, as soon i can use always the same bootscreen for diferent roms.

hi, i'm about to post a dropbox download link for you to get the animation.

just click the link and download . back in a minute .

download the file and do not extract it . now ,go to your file explorer and go to " system/media" ,you will see a bootanimation file there already.

for now rename that one bootanimationold . now copy and paste the new animation to the same place .

now after you place the file, long press on it to rename to just "bootanimation.zip " .

now long press on the zip again and scroll down to properties and change by ticking all boxes .

once done back out , reboot and you should have your new one .

Screen turns portrait for a while at boot

I just wonder why the screens turn to the portrait mode for a few seconds when the screen lock appears. Note that the screen turns back to its landscape mode after 4 or 5 seconds.

This only happens when a new boot animation.zip is applied.

This question has been asked for a few times but received no answers yet.

I'm with Finless Measy 1.7 ROM
