Not true, as soon as the boot is finished, boot animation stops. Probably on T9 they are synchronized, but if you modify your bootanimation to last longer, on boot, your device will stop it as soon as boot is finished.

You can easily do a test:

rename file /system/media/bootanimation.zip as bootanimation_test.zip
Reboot and you will not have any boot animation and verify if boot time is reduced, then restore original file name.
I'm sure boot time will be practically identical between a boot with bootanimation present and without it.

Well I got the issues with my screen sorted and now I'm having trouble with the SD card. It keeps saying card removed while the card is still in the tablet. Then it comes back of its own accord. It's very frustrating that the connections between the card and the tablet aren't meeting perfectly. I really don't want to have to sent this back to cube for a second time.

Sorry to hear that.
You are sure is not a software issue (like incompatibility with various SD card brands)?
If you are positive this is a hardware issue, it could be a bad connection between SD slot pins and card contacts.
SD slot area is not too accessible(you have to reach on the backside) and you have to to dismantle the motherboard (this is not very easy due to volume/power contacts glued on case).

I hear about this for the first time.
Maybe you must check your carrier frequencies, and check your IMEI in Settings/About tablet
Null IMEI give this behaviour.
In Europe T9 works just fine in 3G/4G networks.

It's definitely a hardware issue. Sometimes just repositioning the tablet will cause the card to disconnect.

If I root I will be able to get ota updates or not?

Its uncertain at this time to know if there will be anymore updates to this tabet.
It makes me wonder why sell a 64bit tablet without having in mind to update it to Lollipop to take full advantage of the hardware but its not unheard of.

have to say that a lot of Cube T9 of the spanish forums (I'm spanish) have the touchscreen problem.
Like I said before, it's a general problem of this tablet.

If you look to the first video, you"ll see the second screen protector (is visible on secondary camera/light sensor area).
In the second video ...is guy from the first video.
In the third video I can say for sure that guy have both screen protectors applied. When I received my tablet screen sensitivity was the same(very bad) but after I removed first screen protector become more responsive (like the guy the from first two videos compared with the spanish guy).
After a few hours I removed the second screen protector and that's it... works just fine.

After removing the shipping screen protector with the cube graphics in the corner I retested with anatutu screen test. My results are very different from the video above. When I select up to 3 or 4 touch points I can move around smoothly without any drop out. I only get a little flickering at 5 points, and it's not much. I can now register 10 points of touch. I have only had problems trying to copy text and it was only with one page so far. I have attributed the problem with the page because they had a graphic button on the side and I think the copy selection was triggering the button and dropping out.

connectivity problems

hi all,

i found a little nasty problem.
When i play music from tablet via bluetooth, its jamming sometimes.
Just for a little moment, 3 to 5 times per minute...

firstly i thought that is because of my internet connection, but its happening also with music downloaded into my device.
it also happening when iam doing something else with tablet (click on another programe as a browser etc...)

Any same experience? Any solution?

First, is tablet rooted? Many apps that are available in Play store work fully when rooted.

One I use a lot is SD Maid ...with the Pro extension (cheap). There is an option in 'Apps' to reset an app to its first install, and this might help. Go into settings, and make sure you click on show system files if you like, if needed.

Thanks for advice, but i dont understand clearly
First - my tablet is not rooted, and its on latest fw 1.06.
Also, its not about one app, its happening when playing via any video/music player, incl. youtube, spotify, mx player...

On latest V1.06 not happening to have random freeze and reboots?
That's happening to a lot of us.
I have to stay on V1.05 (with no issues for over 2 weeks) and don't have any problems like you described.
