I just upgraded to 1.06. All is well!

I surely hate others are having issues. . I am glad for Hekatombe, that he has a return option.
Keep us posted on how that works out, Hekatombe.

And you mentioned a week for Geekbuying to respond. Trust me ....that is great response time!

Today I've upgrded to 1.6 too but the problem continues. Definitely it isn't a software problem for me.
I'll keep you informed of my "adventure". :S

        Hekatombe,

Did you try my tests a couple posts earlier to see if you have the same symptoms as me?
I cant decide if this is a software or hardware problem.

          It's obviously a hardware problem.

The verdict is still out, obviously ...on the Geekbuying return option ...untilled it is finished.

Still, I imagine you feel some relief knowing it is there.

Did you try the pointer test with the tablet laying on a table?

              It works reasonable well.
ITs when I am holding it with my hand that it goes wonkers.
You might be right that it might be a hardware problem and that the cage is not strong enough and it bends which causes the touchscreen to malfunction.

              Did you email CUBE directly?
I did and the more people complain about it the more they will be forced to aknowledge the problem and offer a solution.

Seriously ...I feel no flex with mine ...holding it by one corner. But if there is a connector at one of the corners, and it has somehow lost contact or has partial contact ...I can see this happening.

I could also se it happening on a Talk 9X.

                  Hi! guys and girls...

The thread goes exponentially and it's hard for a newbie as me to follow... but it's a good thing for everyone... I received my T9 last Monday in Paris, France; I ordered on geekbuying on previous Tuesday: 236 USD (210 euros (with coupon and including DHL shipment) more 36 USD for Taxes (30 euros) because of the "scrupulous" french customs, I think... So quite fast...
I give the impression of a kind of newbie... I am very satisfied... Very fast as everybody said. Pre installed in english (maybe by geekbuying) with no chinese apps. I didn't notice a "grainy" screen; but it is my first tablet... I have a Galaxy Note 3, beside... I installed all the OTA upgrade; I am now on 1.06. Having inserted a phone simcard, everything works fine in France; phone function, SMS MMS and 3G/4G datas after having made few settings. For the keyboard problem, I went on settings/Language & input then the "symbol" on the right of "Android Keyboard (AOSP)"; then Advanced settings/Key long press delay and I set on minimum left (110 ms) then OK... I noticed it is better... maybe not perfect for all of you, I don't know...
I had the good surprise I can "transfer part of the apps" to "phone storage"; I can free a bit of the internal storage (1.94 Gbs), install more apps and install big games as free "Nova 3" I tested...
One of my silly problem is to move the icon on the screen; they doesn't stay "attached" to my finger... very silly but not so important...
At last, being a "droidfish" man (a chess app on the store), I could test it by myself; the evaluation is 1737 knps (as shown on the screenshot) which is a big surprise; this chess app measuring CPU speed in a way put the second for T9 on the ranking behind iPad2 far ahead Nexus 9. You can have a look on the ranking on that thread in a german forum; the thread is mine but the ranking was started by someone else... and the evaluations are everybody's... If you want to make the test with other devices or re-test yours, you're welcome...

Maxime, you have the touchscreen problem that we are discussing above.
That is a serious issue that makes the tablet bad for games that require swyping on the screen.

Try play a game like GODUS or Fruit Ninja and you will understand why its a problem.

As for the grainy screen you need to load an image with white background and you will see that the white is not very white, thats the grain that people are talking about.

I never played those games... I've just installed "free fruit Ninja"... It looks like I can cut the f*cking fruit.... I will try and read all the posts... @hammerjoe, send me an image with "white" as you said to give me an idea...

update: a bit harder with the fruit, now; I don't know if it is the sensitivity or my ankwardness...

                        Its the touchscreen issue...

If you want to be sure, do this test.
In the settings go to developer option and check "Show touches" and "Pointer location".

What you should see is a smooth continuous lines on the screen when you swype with one or more fingers until you stop touching the screen but with this tablet you will see that the line will cut randomly.

                        Thats the problem.
As it is its probably fine to surf the web but for games its a problem.

At this point I am not 100% sure if it is a software (firmware) problem or a hardware problem.
I have emailed CUBE from their website and also from their facebook page about this problem.
I hope to have a reply soon, because I need to know if I have to return the tablet or not.

Man, you have the same touchscreen sensitivity problem.
Try to use swype keyboard... It's impossible to write swyping the letters...
I think it's becoming a GENERAL problem of this tablet.
Too much people having this issue. And a lot more people could have the same problem out of this forum. And we don't know how many...

Hopefully not for our new friend.

I just re- tried Ninja, scoring a new high score!

well. I don't really know what to think about f*cking fruit and everything.
and I don't want to go too far in manipulations...
my overall idea is I think 1.03 worked better than 1.06...

I try and follow hints, complaints. I keep you update.

                              for the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 "finger thing", it looks like I have problems with 2 fingers !?!
but maybe I don't do what I must do...

                                You sound stressed! Hope not.

Just go into developer settings, enable pointer locator, then pull up a white page, lay three fingertips down and move them around on the screen. What you will be looking for is an actual break in the lines. The dots on the line are normal.
