or if someone has a copy of the bios so can reflash it, that'd be great.

    thanks
Here are the drivers for the CX-W8

      Hi everybody!

I have a little problem... and i need your help.

      I install a new win 8.1 32bit version on my new cx-w8.
everything working but i have a problem with the bluetooth.
I install realtek drivers for the wifi (RTL8723BS), the wifi is working but the system don't recognise bluetooth. And i don't understand why!

So do you have any idea? I need a driver for bluetooth?

I save the drivers from the win 8.1 they send to me, but it's not working

I always have the save partition and maybe i will have to restore my system if i don't find.

      Thank you for your help!

You need to install the bluetooth driver, it is separate from the wifi drivers and the baytrail drivers.

My drivers is for the broadcom wifi and bluetooth. Not sure if the realtek bluetooth or broadcom bluetooth.

You should be able after execution the exe to catch the driver at c:\xyz (I think at c:\sp69353)

Or have a look at http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/...driverId=CFMTN

                  Hello Everyone !

Much interested in this device(cheapest option) - can anyone test & confirm networking speeds(download) for LAN, Wifi(pls mention whenever you have Realtek or Broadcom) for this unit ?
Looking forward to play files from NAS over the network - 720p 1080p etc.

On Pipo X7 the LAN is connected over USB, so speeds are limited - same here ?
Is there space available to mount additional heatsinks onto of the metal cooling plate ?
Is LAN working after you turn off the TV screen - Pipo X7 has this stupid bug....

                  Thanks
                  Sader

I've seen it, thanks anyway - but this is sort of a temporary workaround, not a solution.
Anyhow I'm interested in CX-W8, not in Pipo X7

The CX-W8 uses the usb ethernet, speed not sure I can stream 1080p videos.
There is not much space for additional heatsinks but I did add a 5v pc fan on the top and it keeps it cool.
The lan still works after the hdmi cord is unplug / tv is off.

                          I tested
                          LAN - 11.3MB/s (90Mb/s)
                          Wifi Broadcom - 32 Mb/s

of course only if this problem also exists at this device, but why only a temporary workaround, not a solution? I think this solution is very elegant...

Speed is ok - looks like LAN is also through USB and far from being GB One, but indeed will be fine for normal use.

Can you also confirm if bug with LAN being disabled when TV/LCD is off exist on this device ?
Start downloading something over torrent/network and turn off the TV/LCD to check if download is stopped, please ?
One more question - can you pls make a picture of the default heatsink(top lid off) and advose if cooling can be improved by adding additional heatsinks which I have left from GPU aftermarket cooling(memory chips) ?

thanks for a link. Is same cant' be done via advanced edit of Power Plan on Windows 8 ?
Just wondering as on Windows 7 in advanced settings that could be edited....might be wrong though.

I started downloading a file. Downloading goes on when powered off monitor and even when I took off hdmi cable. All is ok.
