              copper heatsink

ordered these pure copper heatsinks. i plan to mount it directly to the main chips and remove all the original heatsinks. hopefully i will arrive within two weeks.

I put a radiator from old videocard. The height of radiator must be maximum 9.5mm. The temperature dropped by only 5 degrees.

What ventilation is there though? Drill some holes in case.. 5C is not a bad drop.

nice mod . but copper heatsink is better than aluminum when it comes to cooling. btw did you put thermal pad under the board?

Also interested what the temps were, how you got to them (prime?), what you used to measure them and how you attached the heatsink?
