How is this version working for you?

i have original mxq (red text), and i try to install, but doesnt make it. Then i download latest kszaq nand install, then copy over the update file and renamed to 5.95.5.2. then installed.
          I think recovery.img is bad.

I tested it, work, but not perfect.
No wifi, remote and cec sometimes stop responding, but with android remote Ok.
Color remote keys used for other functions, so no options with blue key.

          I flash back latest kszaq

for anyone with a black MXQ with a realtek 8189es wifi, I made a build that seems to have working wifi. if anyone want to test it out... kszaq work is by far better then mine so this is only till he gets back.

            download link:
            https://mega.nz/#!0ltmEZbY!Aw8E1Erv1...ORCzkzXBO3tOcg

***you may need to set "wait for network before starting kodi" in openelec network settings i set mine to 30sec***
Wifi appears to be working, I can ssh on anyway but resolution and remote not, remote is no biggie as I can add the remote.conf from a working box to fix but any idea how to go about fixing this?

Hi, sorry for my absence, but I've got the keys to our now place last Monday, so I've been busy with our new place...
I haven't had time yet to look at the stock rom, but I will return when we're settled in our new place

When I format the miCROSD card, does it have to formatted in FAT32 before dragging the 3 files on it?

I dont have an SD card reader but i was thinking of doing the followin:

                      1. Formatting my spare microsd card using my android phone using the android menus
                      2. Download and extract the ZIP file to the microSD card
                      3. Pull the mSD out and plug it into my BeeLink to flash with OE

                      Will that work?

Is any hope to update mxq OE to 6.0.0?
When i flash from amlinux.ru, it working much better except infra remote, and wifi
Or how can i compile the update personally?

A slightly old kszaq release (https://github.com/kszaq/OpenELEC.tv...s/tag/5.95.5.2) is based on the openelec-6.0 branch if that's what you mean. In other words, it has Kodi Isengard (15.1 IIRC). I've been running something close to that on mine for awhile now without major issues.

If you mean that you want Kodi Jarvis (16), that's not tagged yet by OpenELEC. It's only available on their master branch.

I just started building off their master branch, and will post a (probably semi-broken) release of it on this thread shortly if anyone wants to test out Jarvis. It's still entirely based on kszaq's awesome work.

Also, I'm curious how the amlinux release was working better if you're able to explain.

For me is important: has newer tvheadend client, and not stuttering when I playback recorded hd tvshows.
In kszaq release I can't update tvheadend client addon to newer, because don't find.

And maybe the newer kernel has some advantages at playback quality

Thank you envagyok, I'll need to check it out.

Regarding tvheadend, an older version is only available in the OE unofficial addons repo. You can grab new versions from http://build.mycvh.de/Tvh/ and install as an addon (System -> Add ons -> Install from zip file). tvheadend is not built in with OE by default.

Edit: regarding stuttering, I think it might be that the kszaq release you ran was missing the 23.97fps stutter fix.
