    systemctl stop kodi
    rm -rf /storage/.kodi/userdata/peripheral_data
    reboot

When I execute these commands over SSH, the CEC is briefly recognized by the TV, but then the KODI interface returns the language alone to English (I use Portuguese), and TV does not recognize the unit anymore.
Hello kszaq. Just to refresh this subject. Could you take a look at this CEC problem? I collected a log after performing these commands. Thanks!

Shouldn't need the .bin. are you downloading the sd version of oe? (Extension .xz) check out what I said over in the other thread : http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...1230-rom/page5 I have successfully had oe booting off sd using the build that kszaq suggested 6.0.3.1

My OE builds don't flash u-boot. You should first have Android working on your device - that would mean that you have a proper u-boot - and then try running OE.

Yes, logs from 6.0.3.1 please. I'd like to see which device tree is picked by your bootloader so that I can include it in future builds.

I'm looking into issues with the new CEC driver and working on a solution. It's a bit hard to fix that when I don't have your HW but I've been able to partially reproduce your issues. Meanwhile please use previous builds. I'll ping you when I have something to test.

kszaq Can you bring in this peripheral driver in your next build? I think this will give us full gamepad navigation support within openelec.

PatrickJB I hope you UNPACKED the ZIP and then used the backup tar file which is inside the zip file ??
You cant just try and restore from the ZIP file. I used the zip file just to compress the backup for less upload and download size.

kszaq As I've said above the video playback is, overall, actually worse on 6.95.1.3. 6.95.1.1 was better but the test build you did, version 6.95.1.2 is the one that currently works best for me as far as video playback is concerned. It's still not perfect but it's the best build so far as far as I can tell (only limited testing for about an hour). Slightly strange as I thought the playback improvements were the same in version 6.95.1.2 (test build) and version 6.95.1.3? I figure there must be something about 6.95.1.3 that is causing playback issues as it's actually worse than any of the previous builds, at least for me!

Hey 6.95.1.2 test build seems to be working really well so I'm not being negative just thought i'd flag up a possible issue that some other users may be experiencing even if they don't realise it, if you know what I mean.

EDIT: and that last comment is not aimed at costaman as I believe that he does have perfect playback.

6.95.1.2-test-build from 6.95.1.3 because of judder on video playback.

No problems. I'll get those logs for you as soon as I can. I'm at work at the moment but it doesn't look too hard to do. Before collecting the log will I need to clear it or does a simple reboot clear the logs? And is there a particular log you want me to retrieve in terms of the filename? I'm pretty sure I know how to get them and just want to be able to provide you the information you require hence why I'm asking these questions now. Sorry if they are dumb questions 😂

I've used the HD18Q build on my device. The MXQ builds are for the devices with the red mx on them. Ours are the all black type which require the HD18Q builds ☺

Please edit your quote regarding MXQ Builds are for the red stripe MXQ Boxes only. This is incorrect as it depends on your Board and remote.
I use the MXQ Arm Builds All black MXQ and it works perfect. If everyone would supply their Board And Version of OpenELEC at the foot of their post/comment we would have a much easier time helping you.

how can you tell what openelec you have from the board. I'm still learning this. I know I have mxq v3_2 all black box.

That will be on the main Thread post. If the device you have does not work then Post a clear photo of the pcb showing chipsets. If your getting errors you most lickly have loaded wrong softwars before trying software. Yes you will need to un Brick the device. Links to how to will also be posted. 😁
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

I will make it a bit clearer.
On the footer of my posts or comments you will see my box is all black. Next is what version of OpenELEC I AM RUNNING.(Nand means not off an external SD Card) and last is the Board inside my Box.
I ask everyone with the ALL BLACK Boxes supply this information as there are so many Variations of the ALL BLACK boxes.
As an example my remote control is the same as THE RED STRIPE MXQ's

                                Hi Again
I have just gone through your post history and just realised YOU HAVE A CORRUPT ANDROID Operating system.
Do not try Flashing OpenELEC as you are wasting your time.
You must First find A WORKING ANDROID Operating System for your box before trying anything OpenELEC.
If i find anything i will let you know. In the meantime see link below for HD18Q Android roms.
Dont worry about remote or wifi not working in the roms as once you get the box to successfully boot into Android you can then Flash OpenELEC.
More than likely HD18Q will work as i looked at the remote.
