• The kernel from your backup
• a 900supersport modified boot.img
• a 900supersport touchbased CWM recovery
• a 900supersport modified system.img with full root and play
• parameter file from your backup

I think at present you only have 512 meg for apps storage so I'd like to get this increased somewhat.

Can you

• goto settings, storage and check internal storage for me
• open parameter in notepad, copy the contents and post for me to look at

The boot.img currently flashed is the one found in beta2 originally named boot.img.orig, but renamed to boot.img. Boot.img.900ss is currently sitting in the beta2 directory.

I went to settings, storage, and scrolled down to see internal storage. It had a bunch of items listed, and quite a few said "Calculating...."

All of a sudden, the tab went into Splashscreen3, and hung there. I had to hold the power button down to turn it off. It turned back on fine. Seems fine now, but I thought I'd mention it.

After turning it on, and looking at storage, I see the following:

No... it's weird. Under all that stuff I just posted, it says "Erase Internal Storage"
Then next line: SD CARD
Nextline: USB STORAGE
Then, greyed out, "Mount USBDISK"

I'll take a SS and attach.

On a completely different note, is there a way to adjust how often it polls for network? I thought I read somewhere that by reducing the interval it might save more battery. Thoughts?

Try removing the SD card and re-inserting. Not certain on the network scanning.

Spontaneous Reboots

Woke up this morning to the tab frozen on Splashscreen3. Spontaneous reboot and hang? Battery life was down to 45% (from 99%), so no way of really telling how long it was like that. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know.

Memory storage seems ok from what I posted earlier; am I reading that right?

What's next? Seems like we're close, if not there!

Is your sdcard formatted fat32? rk3066 tabs all seem to corrupt fat32 sdcards this can cause strange behaviour. If it is you may want to fry formatting as ntfs.

Give me an hour and I should have the ROM kit uploaded.

Don't know about the SD card format. I've installed a couple of apps to it to test, so guessing it already was formatted. I'll reformat it before flashing.

Even loaded and tested Netflix with no trouble. I seem to remember reading about some folks having trouble with Netflix on their tabs.

I understand. I'll format SD card, then do a full flash with your ROM kit.

Ok but don't leave it in while you flash, recovery has a habit of formatting them fat32 without asking.

Good point. I notice the auto recovery formatting and/or mounting the card after flash. Also, the clockwork util didn't come up automatically on these last few rounds. Had to do the terminal thing. Will that change? What else can you do with clockwork?

Recovery is triggered by a full flash with misc, the last few we did where small changes so recovery was not necessary.

With clockwork you can do backups, restores, upgrades, wipes, manage mount etc. The menus scroll so you will find more if you drag them up. Most of the options on the first screen lead to further menus.

Hopefully this is the final ROM.

Can you download this to a separate location to the earlier ROM kits, then do a full flash (erase IDB) and let me know. It should boot to recovery, select reboot and it should reboot. First boot may report errors on storage, touch the notification and select format and you should be done.
