Sammi, are you using the exact same setup for PC you used to flash 1.6? Make sure it's USB 2.0 not 3.0 port, that your not going through a USB hub, and no other USB devices are connected to the UG802.

Used same laptop, but did not re-install drivers. Also tried all three USB ports and different micro usb cable.
I am new to android, but have a programming background, including a bit of linux quite a few years ago.... thus prepared to do manual install, if pointed in the right direction. Tx.

First of all i would like to say thank you to Finless and Alex for doing a great job for the community.
I have tried the 1.7 720p rom on MK802 3 and it works great on a Benq Monitor and a Daewoo TV, except that now my Philips LCD TV doesnt recognize the stick (unsupported video format), tried all the resolutions and all refresh rates but no luck.It worked fine with the stock rom.
So this is a question to the devs , are hdmi drivers in your rom different or modified in some way and is there a way to solve this , so i wouldnt be required to go back to the stock rom?

One question, probably for Alex:
I use 5.1 USB sound card, with CMI chip. I used it before with Ubuntu, so it works in Linux fine. Surprisingly, it also works with ug802, when I plug it in I get Sound Devices in Android Settings, and I can use it. But, my question is how do I control it, because now it works only in stereo mode, not 5.1? I thought I could pass some options to kernel module when it loads, but lsmod and dmesg do not show which module it uses, so it must be statically compiled into kernel ?
Generally speaking, where are the kernel drivers ? All compiled into kernel, or somewhere else ?

Sammi, then it maybe a corrupted NAND loader. You may have to do this proceedure.

I can confirm ... MK808 is working with UG802 1.7 Rom , kizs_kernel_1.5GHz_1080.img, boot1080.img and 2gb appspace... wlan 72% and -53db stable same up/down 1100kbps/8500kbps lik my galaxy tab. more testing later. antutu 3.0.2 8953 with 1500MHz

hi, just want to confirm if your wifi is stable in this build? also i your browsing experience is real 1080p and not stretched out? currently i have finless 1.5 and my wifi keeps on dropping and the display in stretched out so my browsing experience is not food. I have huge fonts and seems the page is zoomed. tia!

1.6 to 1.7... Erasing IDB Failed [ RESOLVED ]

Problem solved. It required a PC user with admin rights and I only log in as admin user if I need to install software or drivers... which was required for the 1.6 install.

1.7 installed and looking good.

Power Supply

So it looks like when you order a UG802, there are possibilities of received different models of the power supply. I've ordered a bunch of it now and here is my conclusion:

Model: YJ-1210 - bad, WiFi is unstable and doesn't connect:
Model: CW-B5 - good, everything is working correctly.

Why on this rom game "Bad Piggies" do not works? It ran properly but buttons in game do not respond on mouse clicks so we can't play
