Don't expect any progress reports. Bob doesn't really do that kind of a thing. And he may or may not be able to do it.

Correct. 2dark does the kernel work. I know he was looking at this but then the holidays came along as well as some other work. I am sure at some point he will get to it. I know he is aware of some TV's with sound issues.

      Bob
"Pzebacz im, bo nie wiedzą, co czynią"
"Прости им, они не ведают, что творят"
"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"
"Vergib ihnen, denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun"
"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

Hello, I tried many PSU and HDMI cables but sound glitches was still there. I also tried different versions of kernel [720/1080/some another I found on pda4u] with 1.7roms everyhing without success. My dmesg log was everytime an error loop:

With no hope i did a last reflash with 1080p@1200, reboot, and the sound issue was still here. Pis*ed up, I started look for my largest hammer to smash this thing. But now the magic happen... this time I did not turn off powersaving (it was the first thing I did after every reflash because i don't want to turn my tv/monitor off), so after 17 minutes (of searching a hammer) tv screen was off and when I wake up it by mouse move - UG finaly got some EDID data from tv. From this moment my UG sound works good and I can see greatly speed improve because there is no errorlog writing every 1/100s. After this I tried reflash not the whole UG but with "kernel only" checkbox to some overclocked kernel (with heatsink) and sound is still perfect.

DMESG for 2dark4u - this is the point I get from PLAY_BACK loop:

The best solution is to use root explorer or adb or whatever method you prefer to edit /system/etc/vold.fstab then change the lines that say: dev_mount flash /mnt/sdcard auto /devices/virtual/mtd/mtd9/mtdblock9 dev_mount sdcard /mnt/external_sd auto /devices/platform/rk29_sdmmc.0/mmc_host/mmc0 to look like this: #dev_mount flash /mnt/sdcard auto /devices/virtual/mtd/mtd9/mtdblock9 #dev_mount sdcard /mnt/external_sd auto /devices/platform/rk29_sdmmc.0/mmc_host/mmc0 #Swap sdcard and external_sd dev_mount flash /mnt/external_sd auto /devices/virtual/mtd/mtd9/mtdblock9 dev_mount sdcard /mnt/sdcard auto /devices/platform/rk29_sdmmc.0/mmc_host/mmc0 Finless, it looks like other authors just provide a vold.fstab and a vold.fstab_ which has the swapped entries and allow folks to swap them. *I give up* I've spent 20 minutes trying to get the forum to either let me upload the vold.fstab (even renamed to .txt) or get it format the lines correctly....it doesn't like my web proxy or something and I'm tired of trying.....you can google vold.fstab and sdcard to find instructions.

Why most of the gameloft games don't work at the mk808. The must download more file to run but there don't download . I have payd fore the games .

Gameloft will work if you modify build.prop and make the device look like a Samsung.
There are many posts on how to do this. I do not do this for my ROMs as it is something that can easily be done by people that want to fake the device.

In TV Players there is no touch screen support or drivers. So obviously they removed this from settings. If it was there I do not think it would be of use as again no "real" touch screen support.

                            USB Ethernet adapter RD9700

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any advice, I have this type of ethernet adapter:

I had it hooked up to a powered Rosewill 7 port usb hub on the stock ROM with a Rii dongle and it worked fine, when I flashed Finless 1.7, as soon as I plug it in now, it just locks up the device and I have unplug and reboot to fix it. Is this a driver thing? Can I somehow manually install the drivers and get this to work?? I'm pulling my hair out on this because I cannot get the WiFi to work at all with any ROM and if I can't get this to work it's pretty useless. Thanks.

                            Comment

Well, I can't say exactly what caused it. Might be because I have the stock Kernel/Boot.img and that I was playing on a 720p TV, but I started up a 1080p movie I had downloaded. Was playing good and looked damn nice. About 2 minutes into the video, my UG802 restarted itself. Felt the heat-sink and it wasn't any hotter than normal, so heat couldn't be a issue. Don't think it's the power supply as the Energizer USB power stick I got, from what I can tell, puts out over 1.5A on the designated 2.1A output.

                              Anyone have any thoughts?

EDIT* Might have something to do with WiFi. After the restart, WiFI is off and will not turn back on it looks like.

EDIT** Wireless Wasn't the problem at all. Seems to be a problem with decoding on the HW+ portion of MX Player. Regular Hardware Decoding works fine.

                                WI-FI Direct

Is there any chance to include WI-FI Direct in next release?
