That's right.
It extracts from the new model　UG802 by rkdump.
Since only kernel.img and boot.img were extracted, kernel.img and boot.img were raised.
WIFI could be used, when burning Finless custom ROM version 1.7 by ROM Flash Tool, and kernel and boot were changed into this kernel.img and boot.img and were burned.
However, only 720P can be used.

Hi all, I joined the forums because I just ordered and received a UG802 and wanted to flash a custom ROM on it, the new finless v1.7. However, when I opened the case, I saw that I too have different hardware than the original UG802. Pics in the link below.

As taxpayer and Ken stated, the two solder pads near the NAND chip have been replaced by a button. Also the PCB has the date 20121018 and version SW601 v0.1 printed on it. The wifi chip is imprinted as Realtek RTL8188EUS. Also, you will notice that the antenna is different than ones I have seen pictured in the past (no foil). To be honest, the wifi reception is really strong. I dunno if it's the antenna or what, but I got excellent speeds with the speedtest app.

If I can be of any service in getting 1.7 working on this hardware version, I'd be happy to help and/or donate. I see that ken has uploaded a ROM dump, but I'm not sure if that will work. If given some instructions, I'd be happy to also supply one. Ken also mentioned (with rough English) that it's possible to get v1.7 working on this with wifi, depending on what you flash and the order (something about not powering it off). If so, can anyone provide clear instructions, or should I wait for a completely updated finless ROM? The stock ROM on this is garbage.

Dump mountedblock 4 (mtd4). If you have root you should be able to.

Oh I see you got unknown image! This is a priblem with RKDump and RK3066. Do you have a linux box?

Or dump it using ADB using DD command.

Now, it has six UG802 and five pieces of them are this hardware.
The inside of the five pieces and two pieces are "rk30 sdk-eng4.1.1 JRO03H eng.box.20121126.180852 test-keys."
Although it came out and three pieces were "rk30 sdk-eng 4.1.1 JRO03H eng.box.20121208.221744 test-keys", "Finless custom ROM version 1.7" is overwritten, There is no ROM of "rk30 sdk-eng 4.1.1 JRO03H eng.box.20121208.221744 test-keys", One set which remained extracted ROM by "rk30 sdk-eng4.1.1 JRO03H eng.box.20121126.180852 test-keys" after this.

So please... I have boot.img and kernel.img. I need system.img. Do not worry this is not data I can steal from you. As long as you do not dump /data all is secure! even if it was not, I wild not steal your information.

So can you please dump with DD system.img.

windows 8 drivers

Guys i have a fresh copy of windows 8 doing the whole process to install the new firmware on my ug802 i m getting in flash mode but when i continue to install the drivers in win8 they didnt install because they are not compatibles i think.Is there any other way i can install drivers for windows 8??
