I did not manage to use CWM with keyboard and mouse, so I used adb to push the files.

It is in settings>display>sleep
Never is at the top of the list.

However, someone if you read several posts above, someone installed something that took away the never setting. I do not know what that was and he never explained it. If you do not have never, then somehow you lost the setting. It is there in my ROM.

freeze when wake up from sleep mode

Yes I usually put in security option lookscreen in disabled, and in WiFi policy sleep never.

I flashed the fresh finless 1.7 on my MK808B.
I encountered strange freeze with the following condition.
Sleep set at 1 minute
When I touch my RC keyboard the TV screen open with the main screen,
Slide the lock to open.

After few touch on the keyboard it freezes.

( note :wifi advance setting keep wifi ON during sleep = always)
Observed with wifi indicator is gray.

Hope you can advise.

You certainly do, but not in display setting. I believe Bob ment keeping wifi always on when screen goes off. In other words, if you want your screen off without MK808 going into a sleep mode, you should lock you wifi to always on by clicking the wifi menu (3 dots on the upper right corner when in wifi settings).

is this firmware compatible with mk802iiis bluetooth version?

Your MK802IIS+B (if we talk about new bluetooth version) have a same WiFI+BT chips (Mediatek) with MK808B Sunvel Clone, so you can try to flash you miniPC with MK808B Sunvel Clone Finless BOB firmware

Have done some more test and can confirm that putting the mk808 to close (under 1m) to the router makes the speed drop, and putting the mk 808 about 1.5m apart from router the speed returns to full.

Thats on 1.7.

Anyone that want to test this !!

u can just replace the file by copy/paste, and then by changing the permissions using root explorer or es file manager with activated root settings.

UPDATE March 09, 2013:

Some people reported wifi slow down on the MK808 Original (non-B) with 1.7. Turns out I forgot to patch the wifi stuff like I did in 1.6. So I made a new 1.7a that is reported to have fixed this wifi slowdown. The download links below have been updated.

Note: This was NOT an issue for the MK808B or Sunvel clone!

True. I've done the antenna mod on my MK808 and on three MK808Bs. None have shown any wifi speed differences between 1.6, 1.6a, 1.7, and 1.7a ROMs.

The wifi antenna mod is something I should try, and sounds like something I would do, but the weird thing and the reason why I haven't done it is, my wifi is only slow on 1.7 (and 1.7a) I've tried 1.5 and 1.6 and wifi is fast, I tried stock roms and wifi is fast, that's why I don't think its an antenna issue...

If you have the same conditions(same place,same router,etc...) and works well with 1.6 and not with 1.7a then is not hardware problem, someting is different, but we dont know what is the problem, in my situation WiFi works the same with all roms for my device(mk808b with rk903).

Except for the kernels compiled by me :banghead: no way to make rk903 works :P and I am triying.

So using CWM to flash differs from using rkandroidtool to flash? If it doesn't differ, then i don't understand (i end up in bootloop as well, complete nand erase and same flash turned ok on second try)

but using omegamoon's kernel causes freeze after 1-2 min
