MK808 "all models" Finless 1.7

Hi guys

Wondering if someone could help me. I've just flashed this ROM for the first time, but I seem to having a problem with the WIFI as it won't turn on? I've reset the device a couple of times with no luck.

Any ideas??

Is there any way to change keyboard hotkeys? My K400 has a music button that launches the Music app in Finless 1.7C - wondering if I can specify which app it launches somewhere. If I disable the Music app, nothing launches.

The problem is the MUSIC 'function' seems to trigger launching that one app specifically ("Music"). I want to either change the app that is launched with that function, or create functions. I've seen neither detailed.

Sv: NEW - MK808 "all models" Finless 1.7

I run 1.7c on an original 808.
Installed Skype and tested with two different webcams, "Microsoft Life Cam Studio" and "Creative VF0640"
On both camera the microfone works but the video doesn't. Tried to start the camera app, at first it gave a black picture but with shutter button, then crashed. After that the camera app crashes for both web cams.
Any ideas if there is a way to get the video working?

Flash mode failed on MK808b ?

Hey Freaktab Forum,
I wanted to flash the 1.7 firmware, but the flash tool always says Flash mode failed.
The mk808b is recognized by the tool but i can´t get it into flash mode?
any ideas? thank you very much! :-)

There is, Settings>Apps>%music app you want to change from%>Clear Defaults (at bottom)...

As a work around if that doesnt work, try disabling that app in Settings>Apps>All . Click it, then hit Force Stop, Clear Data, then Disable. Next time you push the button, see if Android asks you to select another app.

Also Logitech C270 works OK. I have turn on "USB Debugging".

Hi guys,

I am an amature in the uk looking to flash my device to finless 1.7 or 2.0, my issue is poor playback of 720/1080 video.

Can i do this on a mac as my pc is very slow and is ready for the scrap heap

What is exactly your device? You can flash it from cwm recovery without pc, if your device is mk808b or mk808, but if you flash from stock rom you will not get the advantage of 2gb to keep user apks, only 512mb like in stock rom, the rest its the same.
