Me again. Anyone know how I can restore root on 1.7c. Lost it when I temporarily unrooted with super su. Now super su won't start due to missing su binaries...

One more question please:
a 3G dongle got recognised by this rom, and i even used it through an app on the market, but is it possible to use it as a native 3G capability?

You see the problem is, although the device have internet connectivity ( can use the browser) not all services detect the availability of the internet, for example the market.

Is there anyway to use the 3G usb stick like a normal built in 3G , with the signal strength displayed in the notification bar ?

so just to get this staight,
can I change the resolution on this rom by doing something like this

echo "800x48p-50">/sys/devices/virtual/display/display0.HDMI/mode

is such mechanism is allowed on this rom ?

No.

You can not change to an arbitrary Resolution, you can change to one of the predefined Resolutions in the list.
The closest is 720x480p !
Omegamoon can extend this list but you have to ask REAL nicely

flymouse cursor doesn't appear on tv sreen

Hey,

I turned on my mk808 this morning and the flymouse cursor just did not appear on the tv screen. i tried re-initialising the remote but it still doesn't appear.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

I *think* he is just talking about the preset default value variants of the kernel, i *think* that every newer kernel from Omegamoon has the abilty to be configured to one of the predefined resolutions.
Thats a lot of thinking :-)
Just try it, that doesnt hurt, flashing the kernel only isnt hard...

If i want to do a factory reset, everything it's gonna be ok? (Beside losing all app and settings).
Because i want start with a fresh install of all app.

Yep, factory reset should work just fine. All it does is format /data /cache, and /internal SDcard.

I turned on my mk808 this morning and the flymouse cursor just did not appear on the tv screen. i tried re-initialising the remote but it still doesn't appear.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

I have a Measy RC11 and it seems there are 2 USB RF module types for this flymouse; I have a smaller size module when I compare it to pictures of it. Also for me the volume buttons etc. work out of the box while the older RF module required tweaking the keyboard code mapping (at least that's the assumption, otherwise the RC11 itself was changed too).

Anyway, with this module I had some USB connectivity issues; the contact points do not stick out enough to always make contact. I first noticed this when the module worked only on some ports of an USB hub but not on others.

I "fixed" it by squeezing the USB connector on the RF module just a little bit inward to create just a little bit more pressure on the contact points. Sometimes I still have to wiggle it a bit, but contact seems to be reliable enough; I do nove have issues anymore.

Thanks, Catadarius, but is there an order for flashing? When I flashed 1.7c the memory had to be erased before flashing the new code.

Easiest way is to go to the path where you uncompressed finless rom , move kernel720.img from one of the folders (all the .img are there) to another path to back it up and copy paste the 2dark4you kernel .img file to that folder, rename it to kernel720. Open the flashing tool, uncheck all the boxes and just check the kernel one. Flash. Done.

I personally reflashed the whole thing with kernel image replaced by the 2dark4you one so I left all the check boxes as they were in first place and off course had to erase nand.
