You'll see plenty of subdirectories in /data.
    Have a look at /data/data/com.android.settings/shared_prefs/com.android.settings_preferences.xml
There is an item called "main_screen_mode" which ist set to "1920x1080p-60".
Maybe that is what you are searching for.

    Good luck
I can't do this, because if I flash this rom, as my TV isn't 1080p capable I can't see anything. So can't use Explorer ES...

I've been able to mount de boot.img and system.img and can't find the file you talk about, now I'm trying to mount kernel.img to search for it...

edit2: found out my wifi issues were because I thought I had a MK808B and it wasn't one

Thanks for this ROM it's awesome. I wanted it only because my MK802III remote app was not working anymore, but I got much more than just that fix!!!

        Noo dslr dashboard, no adb

        (EDIT: FIRST PROBLEM SOLVED:
        //I'm new to android.
With ES Downloader found code.google.com/p/ and my app. Installed fast and good. Works fine with Nikon D5200 via usb through vnc.

        THE PROBLEM WAS
//1) I wanted to install dslr dashboard with google play. But the software is said incompatible with this device. So I tried to install it with the browser. It accepts MK808b, which was the original rom and is registered with my account. But it doesn't accept the spoofed Samsung device. )

//So I've changed back build.prop to the original one. But the new device "T-mobile Mk808" is still incompatible.

        2) "adb devices" doesn't recognize my usb-stick in windows 7. (mtp-is enabled in build.prop) The system of Windows 7 accepts my stick after a change in the .inf-file of the google-driver. The google driver is installed and reported as "working". But "adb" doesn't see the device.

For the moment I am working with wireless adb. But my Nikon wu-1a needs an own wireless connection.

        THE SECOND PROBLEM STAYS.

          noobish question about this ROM

          Devs,
I've had my mk808b since around the first of the year-I'm running mk808b_v401j2 2013-03-18, with clockworkmod recovery installed. Is there any way I can flash this rom from CWM? I have soft bricked this device a few times now, mostly from uninstalling "uneeded" system apps that were really needed, or other experimenting, and CWM+nandroid backups have saved my ass everytime on this and many other devices, I hate flying without my safety net. I have figured out how to make it boot into recovery using a paper clip while powering on, etc. Will CWM still be there after I use the PC tool to flash this? Or, can I just do the rename cwm.zip to update.zip on the SD card and boot like I did before? I'm so used to cyanogenmod on phones and tablets nowadays, and I play with so many devices I can't always remember how I did something a few months ago. I checked http://androtab.info/clockworkmod/rockchip/rk3066/ and the CWM there is the same I already have. Thanks in advance, and sorry if you have already answered in other posts, just didn't see it all spelled out like this.

If you use pc to flash the device, only need to unselect bootloader, parameters and recovery, and dont erase idb(this will erase your full nand).
In other words, flash from pc only system, boot, misc and kernel from pc. This should keep your sdcard, recovery and parameters file like it was before the test, the apps you installed will be there too, so no need to reinstall, I allways suggest after reflash system wipe cache and dalvick cache, and some times wipe data and loose your apps installed is necessary too.

Thanks, I tried it like you said, and it seemed to work great at first, but my NAND wouldn't mount at all after-tried wiping dalvick cache, then wipe cache, and then even a factory reset, still no nand. Couldn't get it to mount, the "mount NAND" option in settings-storage stayed grayed out. So I reflashed with the full set of check marks, 1080p boot and kernel, 2GB parameter, verified NAND was mounting correctly, then put the CWM.zip on a SDcard, renamed it to update.zip, and when I put the card in the stick, it prompted me to install the update, rebooted to CWM, and now I have my clockworkmod recovery back, and made new backups. It did keep all my apps at first since I didn't wipe IDB, but most were running from the sdcard, which was the nand, and wouldn't work anyway. But everything is good now, and the 1080p looks great. I'm used to reinstalling apps, that's half the fun of playing with custom ROMs :_) Thanks for all the work the devs did on this ROM :-)

Some times erase the full nand is the only option that works well. For it, i suggest to make the backups in an external sdcard.

I always do, then archive them to my archive drive on my PC, which get's copied once a month to my offline backup drive, with everything else I don't want to loose. I got stuff for around 15 different androids stashed away from the last 3 years. Every few months I go through and delete nandroids over 6 months old. I just don't need backups of froyo and gingerbread or ICS anymore. once I get rid of a device, I have to remember to delete all the crap it generated while I owned it.

I can't find the file with props...

                        Does not boot?

I've tried to flash with this ROM but when everything is done, i plug it into the TV, the device becomes stuck on the boot screen (with the black android etc). The 4 circles on the bottom does not move like its suppose to. I tried to reflash it and etc, but it does not seem to work.

I have the 808B, and flashed the older finless roms before and it worked.

                        Can anyone help please, thanks!

get clockworkmod recovery (CWM) for mk808b, the file name is MK808B_CWM.zip, rename the file you download to "update.zip", put it on a SD card, boot with the SD card in the device, and it will boot into CWM recovery, and from there you can use the options to clear the dalvick cache, and/or wipe the cache partition, which MIGHT fix it so it will boot. If you had a custom recovery before and made nandroid backups, you can restore them from there too so you can get back to where you were. Here's where you can get CWM http://androtab.info/clockworkmod/rockchip/rk3066/ .
I highly recommend ALWAYS make a nandroid backup of your working device before trying to flash anything new, it has saved my ass many times on many different android devices.

You can always use a build.prop editor to change the things you need. I use one from JoeyKrim apps, but there are a few out there that are pretty good and free. The main thing is to make sure you got the permissions right on the new file, and to always make a backup of the original before you start. And make a nandroid backup with CWM first too, in case it won't boot. I've done that before too.

as it was my last resort

(rk batch tool didn't see my dongle), when I launched the Tool, it detected the dongle in loader rock usb mode (not mass storage), so I skipped the driver installation steps.

I successfully erased NAND with your tool, but when I tried flashing ROM, my windows virtual machine (ran it in VirtualBox) crashed - time after time, after first 52K data written. Any hints?
