Lollipop - Wasser Firmware for Beelink R68 with Gigabit LAN, WIFI AP6335

This box is so frustrating. I have a Tronsmart S95 Meta in my living room, and have had no problems with it. The Beelink i86 is another story all together, I have the most up to date firmware from Wasser, but I still get the same issues I had with the stock firmware that came with it, the optical audio passthrough is awful, sometimes it works, then it randomly cuts out, or it goes all garbled or sometimes every goes high pitched like chipmunks are talking and it stutters, I dont have a hdmi input (video is going through a HDMI to DVI adaptor) on my monitor or amp so I am relying on optical audio passthrough to get sound. Using KODI is awful too, DTS or AC3 will play but often the sound starts getting out of sync and then there is an awful loud garbled clicking sound like the everything is corrupted, WIFI and Bluetooth are not working, and I dont want to lose 5GHz wifi so I dont really want to do the hack mentioned above. The device isnt even listed on the Beelink website for crying out loud, and they put the kodi logo on the box as if it is supported, so frustrating and such a disappointment, is this ever going to get fixed or have I basically bought a 70 euro paper weight?

i can send you twrp backup might fix some of your issues like wifi and bluetooth but i dont have an audio system to test the passthrough ... let me know if you want to try i will upload tomorrow

Hey man, thanks that would be great, may I ask how you have changed the firmware compared to the original Wasser firmware?

wasser did all the hard work thats for sure .... the rom is possible because of him

Cool, I am currently testing the passthrough, it seems to work ok through the Video player that Wasser included in his rom, but the left channel has no audio, center and right are ok, I dont have rear surrounds in my kitchen, for obvious reasons. (fixed, one of the plus minus cables had come out of its connector)

Kodi, and Vid on are all terrible, such bad sound on passthrough, noise.

You tube keeps messing up too, audio started ok, then started jumping, then it just goes very high pitched like chipmunks, something is seriously wrong with the optical audio on these boxes.

How exactly does this work? I put all the files in a folder actually on the i68? 1.6 gb in total? All those files yes? I cant find any of those folders using the file manager, where should they be? I am not using an SD card, just the internal storage.

need to flash twrp for rk3368 .... then theres a restore button in recovery .... but u need to use either sd card or usb to restore the backup ..... google how to restore backup twrp .... tons of forums on how to do it

Ok, I am trying to use TWRP Rom Manager from the app store, it keeps saying NEXUS 9 is not supported. I am apprehensive to try this when I am not sure what to do, there are no guides for this device, I have done stuff like this before on a samsung s4 mini, but not this computer.

Also I tested HDMI passthrough on the Wasser rom, there is a delay and audio problems on passthrough over HDMI to my sony 7.1 amp.

Ok so I used Flashify to flash a TWRP recovery file for RK 3368, and now nothing happens at boot, just a black screen, the blue light is on though.
