I unbrick m8s HOW TO included - now i need firmware ROM M8S model: KCA-003

HI. ( Sorry for my english )
My device M8S is tottaly bricked. Until the brick this device looged to google store, google loged this device as SkyKirin MS8. ( AMLOGIC S812 2g/8g)
I need firmware for this device ,i dont remember everting , but i looking android settings it seems to me i fund "SkyKirin and "n200".
history :
I flash in sdcard megatron firmware for m8s and ms9 , work fine , but wifi not work, so i download newer fimware form chinagadgetsreviews named cyx_m8s_ap6330_8g2g_150728_SD升级.
When update start for sdcard, i wait very long time...updating...updating...lopping :/ So shutdown device - power adaptor out.
Now device is totally bricked , no recovery , no start form sdcard ( normal update and bootable micro SD not working, different firmwares ) , and my tv display "no signal". Only my router see this device ethernet connected when is power on.
Last chance is USB burnig tool , so i need img file.
I soldering 2 pins , i read this unblock USB-OTG , and he ordered USB cable.

I've never heard of this box before but that's nothing when it comes to these boxes. So you already attempted the toothpick method with the rom loaded on the sdcard with the last rom that worked?

You might want to contact the seller and get the original firmware for your device.

I have usb cable now, but USB Burning tool not detcet device :/
When i connect usb cable device light on and not decect, but when i coonect soldering 2 pins and connect usb cable light off and stil not dectected.
Any one help me ?

Ok. Try this with the device unplugged and usb tool running and the usb connected first get a toothpick or a small pin an push in against the av port don't push to hard just until you hear it click in. Now while holding in the av pin plug in the power keeping holding the av pin for a few more secs until usb tool detects your device.

This should work but if it doesn't the first time try it again just hold the av in UNTIL usb burning tool detects it.

Almost forgot to tell you if you're using usb burning make sure that you remove the sd card first.

Ok finnaly i unbrict this device, but not easy Unfortunately USB Burning tool did not work.
I had to shorten the pins 29 and 30 on my NAND (SK Hynix H27UCG8T2ETR BC) to make the procedure possible.
USB Burning tool stil did not work. But i have idea.

Make a bottable sd card with BootCardMaker.
I unpack Megatron.zip firmware, copy to another place boodloader.img file , rename it as u-boot.bin, create boottable sd card with BootCardMaker.
Write to sd card files :
aml_sdc_burn.ini
aml_upgrade_package.img - ( this is Em9_ap6330_2g8g_150203_usb img file )
u-boot.bin

this is look for aml_sdc_burn.ini ( dont edit this file in wondows notepad , use notepad ++ )

Next I flash from sdcard megatron firmware for m8s and ms9, because I knew that it works.

TV BOX working but i still dont have wifi ( is AP6330 ) , any idea how to lodad drivers for ap6330 ???

I still not working wifi.
I decided to flashing other firmwares , there is results :

20150129-eny-m8s.zip - no wifi , remonte control ok , power off not working
acemax M8S_0313_0602 kodi 14.2 - no wifi , remonte control buttons reversed.
m8s_ap6330_8g2g_150818_USB - no wifi, no ethernet, no remonte control......
KoDi_EM8S_eng_1114_20150123 - no wifi...j dont remember what else not working
All this firmwares see only 4gb ram

Venz v8 firmware - see 8 gb ram , and thats its all - remonte control not working , wifi not working

Last i have cyx_m8_ap6330_8g2g_150112_sd firmware. I'm not sure whether I should try. (k200-ota )
What is the difference between n200 and K200 ? This is something important ?

So in this time i back to UNZIPME.Megatron-S812-M8S-M9 - no wifi, see only 4 gb ram - but working good.
Does anybody know how to modify the Megatron-S812-M8S-M9 rom to see 8 gb and wifi working ? Then it to be perfect.

Hello, i got some version as your box , on board it is: M8 V8_1 20150418 - I am wondering if it is not just fake M8S and reality it is just M8. Becouse i order from aliexpress M8S. But on board it is M8 V8_1 20150418, so i am just wondering if it is M8 or M8S.

Also after maybe 5hours of testing my device cannot boot after reboot. Look on picture, this i have on boot screen even 1hour and device not boot at all.

I did not test any firmware or anything. This problems i have on original factory firmware.... and now i am also scared to flash anything.

But when connected to power supply i can see there is a light in optical connection hole and when i connect ethernet cable the ligths in ethernet hole starts blinking but blue lightbinthe front does not come up...nothing....What suggestions, what can i do?

If you get the firmware , I can count on you ? Now you can try to prepare the SD card as I described up this topic. If you need a file , I will try to share the evening.

Download all and unzip.

Create boot sd card :
Find 1-2 gb sc card and put in to card reader , connect to pc usb.
Run Amlogic boot card maker, chose drive letter your sd card , select u-boot.bin from unpacked autoboot.zip - create bootable sd card.
Copy files from autoboot to sd card root directory : aml_upgrade_package.img, u-boot.bin, and aml_sdc_burn.ini - from new_autorom folder

Next :
1. Put hdmi cable
2. put sd card into device
3. holding the av pin
4. power on
You should now upload to the software. The LED should blink. if not , try a few times. If this does not help, you should use the method of short NAND pins . I used play dough and needles I put the post with play dough to keep the needle
Next :
1. Put hdmi cable
2. put sd card into device
3. holding the av pin
4. power on

Now he must upload software. When finished it will restart and begin to start.
Do not worry if the software itself will load and TV box does not start to an end , it will blink Launcher window - loop .
Then turn off the power.
Take your SD card , delete files on the PC with the exception of u- boot.bin , this file needs to be ,and copy the files of unpacked Stane_20150204-eny_m9.zip
Next :

1. Put hdmi cable
2. put sd card into device
3. holding the av pin
4. power on

You should now upload to the software. If not you are in recovery mode , and flash manual update from sdcard - eny_m9-ota-20150204.zip
This firmware works - but no wifi , and 4gb memory only.
