the new rom works well Mo... just a couple of things from me... aspect ratio can be a bit messed up with 4.3 stretched or 720 double stretched.... 1080 holds ok in a 16.9.

just wondering ; for the switch off function to work on beelink R89 ; can i use resource and kernel imgs from wasser's lollipop roms with your v1.1 ? do i even need to use them?
Then you can use the Quick Reboot app to shutdown.
Download the UGOOS patch in the opening post, then just replace your resource.img in the Image folder and you can also replace the kernel or untick it to only flash resource.img.

i know how to flash individual resource and kernel imgs..... but why would i use the ugoos patch for the beelink R89 ?
Then you can also just replace the resource.img file.
But no need to download it, will only save you a few seconds of manually doing it.
It is for people that are not sure how to flash correctly.
It's only the flashtool with different settings and UGOOS resource.img separately.

what i'm trying to say is (for my beelink R89) why should i use resouce.img from ugoos patch not the resouce.img from wasser's lollipop (which i already unpacked)? which one better to use for the beelink R89?
New resource.img's also have the remote mappings, so flashing a kernel also to get a remote working I think, is not needed anymore.

hi mo123 ;
v1.1 doesn't boot at all.... kindly check it out.
v1.0 : spdif passthrough (dts and dolby) is working using your version of kodi (stmc)
unfortunately , no spdif passthrough (dts and dolby) in mxplayer (in all versions , including the system-installed version) and also in any other video player....
the video playback is great.....
thanks

Please try external codec in MXPlayer settings - link here and newer version here.
Exit MXPlayer, go to about screen, it will say at the top if custom codec is loaded.
Please test which of the 2 files work best.
Also in Android Audio Settings, change default to SPDIF Passthrough.
The new ROM should also boot.
Try EraseFlash and try flashing again.

Then it should work.
What are the best PVR addons to use, then I'll only include those in the next firmware.
Test if latest Kodi has double stretch fixed on 720 feeds here
