Larger "parameter files" incorporated in your ROM updates
GREAT JOB on your ROMs!
I have a M6 Pro (16GB NAND) and a M9 Pro (32 GB NAND).
I've been installing several game APPS that are over 1GB each. I am running out of "space" in the User install area. I would not prefer installing APPS on the external SD card for speed reasons. I realize this is more work for you, but I would like to see 12, 16, 24GB parameter files bundled with your future (or current) ROM updates.
THANKS

Sure, I can go that high...it depends on how much room you want left on the internal sd for the data all those games generate.
I was doing 12gb parameters for a while. It's just a lot of work making them.
My question is...do we need sooo many choices? What are the most popular sizes?
Instead of 2,4,6,8gb...doing 4,6, and 12gb? Would that be better?

I used the 12GB when I saw them. With external SD capability, leaving a "larger" storage area isn't that critical with the PIPOs. I understand the "pain" involved in creating these files. I would forgo the "lower choices" and use higher iterations such as: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24
These numbers should strike a balance for 16/32GB NAND owners. I hope this wins your/community support.
Hopefully, PIPO is working on fitting in 64/128GB NAND for their next series.

Re: Wish list for PiPo ROM's
Now that I have my system figured out...it isn't really a pain. I enjoy making these tablets fulfill better functionality.
My hobby is making ROMs...not playing games...so it is really up to the users to decide what you need. As long as people understand the limitations...I don't really care what parameter sizes to make.
That being said...is it very efficient to make parameter sizes that people don't even use? I'm more inclined to pick a few popular sizes that make sense.
I always flash the 2gb default just because I don't install that many apps. But 4 would be OK with me.
So how about 4 as default. Then 8 and 12.
Would that be OK?
Anyone else have opinion?Randy

Great! How about a 16 and 24 also for the M9 Pro or any 32GB tablet.

I'd like all system apps on a ROM to be updated with latest versions, saves me updating then integrating updates (some refuse to update says out of space)
Integrating updates seem to cause "not responding" lock ups, even after rebooting. So having latest version in a build would be handy, as no messing around at system level

Which ROM are you using? I haven't heard of those update problems.
