It might be good idea to do a kodi Thread with links to working versions for each device so that its in one place seems to be a huge list of working off sets from kodi example zdmc spmc and HPH specific devices
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

I am having some issues installing the autoscript and the telos_update_uboot.zip file. I am currently running Finless rom 1.0 do i need to revert back to stock?I am getting message footer and signature failed in recovery when trying to update. Any advice appreciated.

I have kept the telos_update_uboot as a zip file

The exact message is failed to mount /dev/block/mblk0p1 on / sdacrd by read only (invalid argument)

Just about to try another sd card.

Flashed latest beta stock beta rom and changed sd card and think it might have went through, didn't go to recovery but the tronsmart logo flashed a few times and took a bit longer to boot.

Seems to be a tickety boo now, even the ir remote mx3 working fine. Will need to get a faster card but class 6 doing the job now. I also have a k3 s905 in bedroom and was wondering if it would be possible to do the same with that. Thanks guys

It is possible with any firmware.
The message about /dev/block/mblk0p1 often the case with problematic cards. I tried a lot of cards work best old class 4 card (2 Gb). Not working Kingston class 10. On PC everything is well recorded and read, S95, doesn't work, can't read data.
On k3 s905 may work, need to see the output from the command printenv u-boot, what would definitely say.

I haven't tried, however by this weekend I shall post my experience once I have openelec installed, anyway I have a metal box.
                        Cheers!

Just to add, have U considered

opening a thread in Kodi forum for wider exposure where large audience can review and then post a feedback, just my 2cents thoughts

Where can I get a link to the topic ?

                            ps/
I thought, perhaps you can use this safe method to start Openelec, Debian etc on any device. If I see the output of the printenv command, then i can create a script for other devices (Amlogic S805 S802 etc)

See if anyone can correct my thoughts, firstly we need to install Openlec Firmware, and afterwards a boot SD card every time the box boots to make it work?

See this manual, instead of using the Ubuntu image, the image of Openelec.
