I am having trouble getting past the openelec boot logo. I have used 4 different cards, 3 are known to work for telos odroid ubuntu and the previous meta image.
I have tried several times. I have reviewed the procedure and started with all freshly download files.
I will try again tonight. Not sure where I am going wrong.

The firmware in the console is not updated ? After updating the firmware, disabled the boot from SD and USB. Need to re-run the script aml_autoscript. And try to replace the dtb on the map.img. Maybe I made a mistake with the file.

Checked the image for Meta. It is not the correct file dtb.img. I'll fix the image and replace it on the website. Who have already downloaded the image, replace the file dtb.img. Need file you can get from the site.

OK. Yes I tried before and after updating the S95 official firmware. After updating I reapplied the u-boot modify.

OK. I see files were not correct, I will try again tonight.

Glad to know I'm not crazy.

Sorry for the delay. It is working well now, from card slot and USB card reader. I don't have a suitable flash drive to test on at the moment.
The WiFi is working very well at 2.4GHz, don't have 5GHz here.
Bluetooth displays "no device", but as Trebor stated, USB BT dongle works. Other than the on-board BT not working, it seems to be perfect so far.
                Excellent work balbes150.

This patch on the current kernel is not suitable.

Added to the website for the Pro model. pro_openelec_v20160419.img.7z

To use this patch, want the core 4.x . Or you need to look for all the patches associated with these changes. I will try to test a few options that would implement it.
