You can try to change the Color mode to RGB_255 in Android Display Settings to help with this problem.
Check when rebooting or powering on from standby then still has the purple screen or if it is gone?
If it works, I can try to make it default on first boot/install.
There might be something else also causing it, I will just try to see if I can find it.
On RK3368 I didn't see this problem.
I think the problem happened because of the new U-boot that has changed a lot.
I think the old u-boot can also be flashed back and will solve lots of these problems including 1080p resolution not remembered on some tv's.
I will experiment a bit.

You can also try to pause a video after a while and play again and see if audio for 5.1 Dolby is correct again.

There is Phoenix OS(like Remix OS) but I still need to experiment with it.
I will also test Marshmallow but will probably only make a basic firmware first.
It might take 1-2 weeks.

Looking forward to the next version - what about the netflix lag ? Did you found a solution to that as well ? And I got a problem with on/off - I can switch the box off - but then I cant switch it back on again.
The button on the box just doesnt work (I have to pull the power plug in order to switch it on again). And one more thing, the square button in the GUI where you can select open apps or close them all - the latter is missing from your rom. It could be nice to have "close all apps" button like on the original Ugoos S/W (3.07)

Yes, you can test it on UT3.
The NTMC Kodi works very well and better than others.

There might be small bugs, but if people report them, it will be easier to fix.
The launcher will have the same days English text as RK3368 firmware.
It is a bit tricky to fix and I need to build complete firmware again, so if I can fix other bugs together with the translations it helps, I can then upload a new firmware with more changes since my upload is very slow and it is difficult to do uploads for small changes.
