This is feasible! I can see hdmi image.

    (other)
I have tried using the latest IMAGE. (Armbian_5.21_Amlogic-s905x_Ubuntu_xenial_3.14.29_desktop_20161025.img.x z)
Can be used normally, but the text appears garbled.

        Hi balbes150,

        Thank you for providing amlogics905x_init.sh
I canceled some services and changed the network eth0 Port, which is currently working fine.

You can upload Your image or archive of the rootfs ? I'm curious to try Your version of Ubuntu 14 on their TV consoles, is to assess the speed.

This Rootfs does not have a desktop, and I have not tested stability in detail yet.
May not meet your expectations, but if you have good suggestions, please let me know.
Please let me know what tests you have done. This is very worth learning.

            (You need the files)

Thank you, downloaded. As the time will try to test on their glands.

Also in the new images is significantly updated kernel (added support for many elements of file systems, some WiFi, BT, etc.). More good news - last version of the image (20161017) universal can run on both processors S905 and S905X. For these images, you can use the dtb files from the directory from Kszaq Lebreelec. As far as I could understand the kernel sources close to the source LE, then you can try to apply the General patches. Also in the images attached two files aml_autoscript and aml_autoscript.zip to activate universal multi-boot (if it is not done on the device). Of the minuses - not working yet running the system from USB flash drives. While the system can only be run from SD cards.
I have tried to run Armbian_5.24_Amlogic-s905x_Debian_jessie_3.14.29_desktop_20161028.img.x z and Armbian_5.24_Amlogic-s905x_Ubuntu_xenial_3.14.29_desktop_20161028.img.x z om mini mx-g with kszaq LE dtb.img but without toothpick I boot android and with toothpick the teddy bear keeps flashing. If I also use the ksaq aml_autoscript and with toothpick I go into recovery.
Note that previously I managed to SD boot Armbian_5.21_Vegas95_Debian_jessie_3.14.79_desktop _20161010.img.xz.
I mostly run kszaq LE from external SD, and sometimes, Android from internal NAND.
Q: do I have to flash universal-multiboot again?

@balbes150. Can you run Linux's SD card or USB flash drive in S912 Vega?

Activate the latest version of the universal multi-boot. It can run all images (linux and latest images of LE 007\008). System Armbian start or not ? Screen flashing when start Armbian is normal. In the images yet the screen saver starts, as in LE. To appear in the future (while this is not so important).

I can create an image with Linux for S912 (Vega S96). But I have no models with S912 to check and debug.

I may need to wait longer to see Armbian come up when screen flashes.
                                I had once flashed aml_autoscript.zip and aml_autoscript found in directory universal-multiboot-s905-v_0.6, they have md5sum 32d2010c60d2c0ee69bd173e8d52030f f6aa66e5c790494fd4a6c936f1dc9c29.
Now I spot another directory Universal_version with same 2 files but also a file update_u-boot_20160907.img.xz. Am I supposed to flash universal multi-boot again having that file on sdcard?
I am sorry for the n00b questions but I am still not sure what flashing/activating universal multi-boot really does.
