    I'm having odd problems.

My box will work fine with Arch for a few days, then network activity stops. I ssh in to reboot it, and when it reboots it gets stuck at the vendor logo, like it has a bad dtb. But this dtb I used since the beginning, I extracted it myself from my box.

Using the latest Armbian image, it boots fine the first time. So I install a few packages (openvpn, samba, etc). When I reboot I get no video output and I can't ssh into the box. My router sees it and assigns an IP address, but I can't ssh.

The symptoms sound like bad media. Have you tried to use a different carrier ? Slower, but more reliable working USB stick. I recommend in the event some problems are always to check the behavior of the system with the USB flashdrive. According to my observations and tests, if the flash drive works fine on PC, then on the TV box it works fine. Ie if you encounter problems, use normal flash drive and the problem persists - then the problem is likely in the system.

Right, also: one can do an fsck on media partitions on other linux machine (if available). Sometimes the file system needs a fix. Once fixed one knows at least that the file system is OK.

And if you have two media (master and working). If you encounter problems with the working media, you can run a Linux system with a standard bearer and perform inspection and repair work, make a backup of important files, etc.

Start the same as S905. Activation and multi-boot using the correct dtb file (if the system does not start using internal dtb).

                      does manual startup succeed?
                      Code:

                      or perhaps another mysql.cnf

I used Armbian_5.24_Vegas95_Debian_jessie_3.14.79_2017012 5.img.xz and the installation worked fine. It is just an earlier version of mysql v5.5. And since I don't need v5.7 I don't mind.

Did anybody success to install it on T95U Pro? I am trying to put on the Armbian_5.24_S9xxx_mate_Ubuntu_xenial_3.14.29_desk top_20170205.img, but no sucess. After rebooting the android(superceleron's rom) with sd card, no output on tv not even the led lights on the box. I have been patient but after 20 minutes I got fed up.
Should I get a dtb file for this device and put somewhere on the sd card?

Yes. You need to add the root correct media file "dtb.img".

I have copied the dtb.img of the original v5 rom to the sd card's root, but still doesn't work. :S
                              Am I missing something else?

If without manually copying the file when using the dtb data from the internal memory, i.e., the firmware, the system does not start, so these data are not suitable for the kernel in Linux. Copying the file from the firmware you are trying to use the same data as is in the internal memory. You need to use only those files that are a part of the image (in the directory /dtb on the media).
