Yes this is a more deep problem, its not a easy fix for me since this is a big project and C/C++/Java skill's are not so advanced as the dev's of kodi..
I will try to do a dirty fix, if it works nice if not i have to wait for a more complete fix from the devs of kodi or koying, if they ever going to do it.......

I hava a Yoka KB2, with s912, and passthrough is working fine, with build 19 and RC3 firmware from superceleron, for DD and DTS but not for DD TrueHD and DTSHD.
It seems the passthrough only works with IEC and not with RAW, and as far as I know IEC does not support the HD codecs.

Any chance to have RAW working on these s912 boxes?

Try SPMC 16.5.5 if that dont work well nothing will
But i can tell you it wont work, but well you can always try it! (forget kodi 17)

Just in case they do, very unlikely, will you update your custom firmware for the Yoka KB2?
I've read that you don't have the box anymore...

On add-on Release hub, Videos restart themselves, stuck in a loop after you stop them ,can you make a fix please.
I had this problem on SPMC but now they fixed it.

Hi Superceleron....what you said?...that "skill's are not so advanced"?!?!!! I have just tried test build and it is exactly what i need!! I was already despaired to kick out my s912 but instead now i'm happy: amcodec on => smooth play and "back button" like previous kodi. You are my Hero. Joking aside really many thanks. In regard to "pull request" to Koying, is correct to delete it to dont waste its time? What you think about?
One last not important thing: with autoframeratefix sometimes film start without audio. I have to do other setting? Not so important because anyway video play always smooth

Yes delete it, no need to for to bother him i think he already found the problem like i did!

I can also confirm the problem is resolved.

I don't have the problem with video starting without audio.

The closest that I can get to that is when streaming from a site such iPlayer, when seeking there is a delay in starting the video and audio and they are out of sync when playback resumes, so have to stop and start the stream again but this could potentially be an addon issue.
