I have not had any remote issues. Make sure you are using fresh batteries(check with tester or meter). Remove batteries from the remote, wait 5 seconds and reinstall. I have seen similar issues on a different device, in that case, the batteries were not engaging the contacts well.

Hi all, thanks for your hard work getting this thing solved while my boxes were (temporarily) away....
FYI, as procrastination is my watchword, buddy came to retrieve the boxes today and I took the fast way out (USB method for the 600M+ FW update, with the two small subsequent patches via OTA). Quick. Flawless. Both boxes up-to-date June 28 ver.

Re 3 vs 8G memory? Yeah i guess you cant see whats obvious to me: a "3" is merely "a vertically sliced 8". I'm guessing it's just a typo, and this is gonna get fixed soon too. Cuz that improvement might make this ....THE box...

Latest ver ends with 40 lol... Because ota a little screwed up they made one firmware with a small ota once installed your at final firmware.

Thats not fair i am little on never owning a allwinner sobif i had a choice of allwinner or mxq pro plus. Id take chance mxq pro plus would get a update before the allwinner.... Seems the mx4 has unified storage of about 5.6 gigs so it is possible on the 3229 device. Now if manufacture does it then great deal for ok box. Still like the Qbox better though.
