I am very disappointed that you can't get real 1080p output, whatever you set and regardeless of the source it is downscaled to 720p (and then upscaled to 1080p to match selected HDMI mode).

Hello and welcome to Freaktab. Some are just starting to dig in to this box now. It might be worth reserving your disappointment for a bit. The box is getting very frequent updates for a budget box. There is still hope.

Well, I was googling and reading forums and found the solution for my problems

To get it to work correctly in 1080p, I have to run the following commands as root (in terminal):

su
wm size 1080x1920
wm density 240

To change it back:
wm size reset
wm density reset

It is not my discovery, but I hope it helps

Yes unified better but set and bricked box last night. Will try again today. Thanks for letting me know storage same.

Call me crazy...but I just ordered another on geekbuying today. I like to think of everything I buy in the number of beers. So if a beer at the bar costs $4-5, It just cost me 6 beers, Prolly the best $35 investment of this year

In my country a beer costs about $0.90 (and we have great beer!), so this box in beer-money will cost me about 39 beers! A bottle of Jack coasts about $15.50, so in Jack money it costs about 2&1/2 bottles...

But then it certainly looks nice with the clock-display

Ordered another one and a qbox via free shipping to see if no duty again. . bricked it its loaded fell asleep trying to see where lost memory is but want to have unified storage need to know where its all located. Ill look at it again tonight. Beer is 8 bucks here but i cant justify all these boxes i may need profectional sessions help to stop. And that will cost more then the habbit.... Least thats what i tell the little lady.

Hello cyber7, He got it going again via PC reflash. This little box is working pretty good, reboots over Eth resolved by update.

Any word on your box's arrival?

Yes the wait between posts is to keep chatter heads like me from posting like a nut. Though it has done little to hinder my verbosity.
