    NTMC Kodi

    - Fixed aspect ratio problem with videos
    - Correct Audio Pass-through settings are set by default.
    Users just need to enable their correct AC3/DTS/HD audio settings in NTMC's Audio Settings and set 'HDMI Bitstream' Audio Setting in Android Settings for pass-through to be in sync.
    - Disabled unnecessary options
    - Added External Player support for MXPlayer and RKVideoPlayer
    When using an airmouse, hold in the left mouse button over a video or stream link, a menu will then pop up.
    Choose 'Play using'
    Press the OK or Select button to choose it.
    Then you can choose to play the video with MXPlayer or Stock Video Player.
    You can also press the letter 'c' on a video link to bring up that menu if you have a Bluetooth/USB keyboard without a left mouse button.

    In MXPlayer you can press on the top right settings menu, choose display, aspect ratio to change the aspect ratio of a video.
    There are quite a few to choose from 21:9, 16:9 etc, that might help.

    In Stock Video Player you can bring up the menu by pressing the 'menu' button on the IR Remote.
    You can then change the aspect ratio, subtitles, audio track and some other options.

    - Added Display Color Changer for people with Green/Purple screens on old Sony & Phillips tv's.
    Choosing a different color setting eg. RGB 255 will solve the problem.
    The setting stays after a reboot so no need to change it again.

    - Fixed stutter with USB Audio
    - Removed the battery menus
    - Added stock launcher, can select it instead of HPHLauncher when device starts for the first time or in 'Home' in Android Settings
    - Improved color, denoise

    Code:
    [U][B]Instructions:[/B][/U]

    [COLOR=#008000][B]Before Installation[/B][/COLOR]
    - Make sure USB Power saving mode is disabled for the USB Port you use to flash the device
    - Use a PC Back USB Port and not ones from the front or a laptop
    - Pause Antivirus software for 10 minutes to not interfere with the flashing or cause high disk usage.
    - Make sure device was connected to PC before in flash mode and drivers were installed

    [COLOR=#0000ff][B]To Install the drivers[/B][/COLOR]
    1. If flashing for the first time, you need to install the drivers with DriverInstall.exe
    2. If you recently upgraded your operating system to Windows 8.1 or higher, it's also a good idea to install the latest drivers.
    3. Let your PC recognize the device and automatically install the drivers
    - Connect the device with an OTG Port and cable to PC
    - Now connect the power adapter
    - Before plugging the power adapter into the device, hold a paperclip into the reset hole of the device, keep holding it while connecting
    the power. You will hear a 'click sound' that Windows has now recognized the USB device.
    - It will ask to install the drivers or install it automatically.

    [COLOR=#ff0000][B]Flashing the ROM[/B][/COLOR]
    1. Select 'Upgrade Firmware' in AndroidTool v2.35(Second tab)
    2. Click on the 'Firmware' button to load the firmware(update.img that you extracted from the 7zip compressed file)
    3. Click 'EraseFlash' to wipe your device, wait for it to finish.
    4. Click 'Upgrade' to flash the new firmware.
    5. Wait about 2 minutes after flashing and before unplugging device for firmware to settle.
    6. Disconnect from PC and connect to TV.
    Firmware works on Nagrace HPH NT-V8 devices and also Ugoos UT4 RK3368 tv boxes.

      You can try but I don't think wifi will work and also not the IR remote.
      You can use an airmouse or USB keyboard/mouse.
      Just make sure you have a backup firmware of your device to flash back if you plan to try it.

                Thanks Mo 123. I am going to try this. I was very happy with version 1.2 but unfortunately most harddisks weren't seen otherwise i would have keep using it. Thanks a lot for all your work and help!

                  Hi mo123,

                  Does it mean the long press feature as well? Doesn't it belong to the IR remote construction? I have two remotes, both send the same codes, just one (Tronsmart) sends them continuously, while the other (looks the same as of the Ugoos remote) seems sending single codes only.
                  Regards, STZO

                    If you hold in the arrow/direction keys it will automatically keep running instead of you having to press the same key multiple times.

                          It only works on Nagrace HPH NT-V8 and Ugoos UT4 devices.
                          For Tronsmart there are several other custom firmwares you can flash.

                              The weather API expired, that's why the weather didn't work in the launcher anymore.
                              An update will be released soon to fix it.
                              I think the launcher will have to be updated for that but will let everyone know and release a new firmware if needed.
