The only RK3229 that has Netflix audio in sync is the HPH NT-N8 since it runs Marshmallow firmware.
All other RK3229's have the Netflix audio sync problem.
Unfortunately manufacturers of cheap RK3229 devices already abandoned their products and moved on to different chipsets, so getting support will be nearly impossible.

No name manufacturers on Alibaba that just put the brand logo on their boxes, no official support or website available.
It's the same situation as with the MXQ logo different manufactures just put on their boxes.

Also, the 27/8 firmware is the latest release?

I brought a V88 and I have a problem with it, a few minutes it start it lost the video signal (or it turn off) but the blue led still on.
any idea to solve the problem ??? Thanks guys.

Hi,
I have this device (EXTERNAL referred as MX4), inside it has a label MX4N, and a wifi chipset SV605.. (referred on 1st page).
Firstly i got confused cause i didnt unscrewed and i tried to flash with RKBatchTool, and Driver Assistant 4.4, all right recognized, and i click to flash the Superceleron's ROM for MXQ-4k (i thought same specs), when i click the update button from batchtool it loads, stage 1,2.. I think in in "stage 5-2 waiting for loader.." (i think saying), and after 1 minute in this state, it stops gives an error message, and since then the box i didnt manage to get into flash mode (with toothpick) and it has always a red light in front.

What can i do..?

Try to change hdmi cable

Hi, I try with other hdmi cable and the problem continue.
I put a bigger heatshink and now It works 20 minutes aprox. and then appears a Green Screen. It think its a hardware problem. It tried a hard reset but the problem continue.

any idea to solve the problem ? Thanks guys.

Hi Netflix is okay with Rk3229 modified firmware suitable for V88 and its Android KITKAT 4.4.4 and not Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. I got the firmware from a Russian website.

MXQ-4K is different from V88.. You're V88 is bricked. You have to unbrick it.

Yes, KitKat is also a solution
Just be aware that Kodi v17 will only support Lollipop and later firmware, but RKMC/FTMC is still on v16 so it can work.

Hi. I have bought this v88 with the intention of using acestream and the problem is that it doesnt let me have it on the background. kodi is not able to open acestream so i cant use it. i havent upgraded firmware so it should be able right? I just open acestream press on back, then go to kodi and nothing, not able to connect with it :/
