If you need A/V then sunvell. Otherwise the metal housing is better, so GT1.

With the hardware definitely not. With software you should use the iRemote app from Google play.

What metal housing? It's plastic.
I wouldn't buy a box for its housing to begin with, but I'm happy with my gt1 nonetheless.

Gt1 is plastic it has a sheet of metal over CPU then thermal compound then a weight plate at top or its for heat dissipation. T95z has a heatsink. I have both TV boxes. They are both equal.

Im in the same boat. Does the Gt1 have better rom support and is Beelink better for OTA updates? Also what's a decent gamepad for these boxes and is there a iPhone app remote? Thanks

Had them both Beelink GT1 has a lot of support but has a con until now in some scenes the picture gets really dark,
T95z in the other hand dont have the really dark scenes in kodi but doesnt have the ota updates support that Beelink has
unfortunatelly you cant have it all you have to compromise.

As of yesterday my GT1 will no longer stay connected to my Linksys EA6500. It will connect fine, but about 5 seconds after connecting it disconnects.

Has anyone else experienced this? Wired LAN works fine. My phone and laptop stay connected to the WIFI fine.

I have one of these boxes and it seems only on this box (I have the mini M8S II and T95M) does both Kodi, and SPMC crash after a couple minutes of use.

I was on 104 but updated to 106 and both firmwares it crashes. Other than Kodi crashing it has no other problems and since I don't see anyone else with this problem I'm assuming it's unique to me.

Anyone have any idea?

Did you tried Uninstall and reinstall of the kodi and SPMC apps?

Thanks for your reply! I should have mentioned the things I've tried.

- Uninstalled/reinstalled Kodi & SPMC
- Removed most of the addons from Kodi (only ran one or two)
- Updating firmware

Box crash because amcodec enable

my box crash during switch off spmc/kodi apps

when disable amcodec your movie on spmc/kodi slightly dark..

but it not going to crash anymore ...
