Beelink GT1 TV Box Octa Core Amlogic S912 ~2/16GB

A few issues left to fix with this box:
1) proper firmware implementing HD audio - just a few formats work properly for now with MX player (AMLogic Movieplayer)
2) brightness permanent fix
3) CEC - the device constantly "steals" the signal from other equipment on my AVR
4) Hardware video acceleration with amlogic - for now it only works in SPMC but often crashes

5) GamePad button remapping

HW+ video acceleration works fine for me in MX player, but in settings I have to choose "alternative HW+ decoder".
Default HW+ decoder gives me choppy video on some (but not all) of my live channels, with the alternative one evertything is smooth.

after last update everything works really fine.....except Wifi
i have to turn off and on in order to make it work.
there is some tweaks that we can do to increase stability and signal？

turned my box on today. language has changed to chinese from english . i set it to english but after a reboot it reverts back to chinese doesnt keep english settting. also had to turn on wifi manually. Hope someone can build a custom rom for this

If you read at beelink forum it had the solution written.turn off the language on HDMI cec.no need for custom rom

Hi everyone...
I have a GT1 and so far i love it... Everything works fine but i have one Problem with the WAF:

When i press power Button the PowerOffMenu appears and i must press OK to Power off the device... Well one Button Press must be enough.

Is it possible to give the power key one standard action like sleep and for long press power off?

Second - even bigger problem - is that the remote has no Media keys like Pause/Play, Record, Info and EPG.

We really need these keys. I have a logitech harmony 350 remote and i'm looking for a compatible device with these buttons to assign... Or another trick to make these buttons work... That would be a life-saver for the box...

Otherwise i must look for the next device... Wifes, huh?

If you read at beelink forum it had the solution written.turn off the language on HDMI cec.no need for custom rom

After the latest firmware update,

1) some apps opening in a "Mobile phone mode" not in tablet mode (i.e. small screen instead of full screen). Even ES File Explorer opens in a small screen window like its opening in a mobile phone.
Is there is any fix for that?

2) Now the temperature is crossing 72-C now. (even before this latest update the temp always hover around 60-68 C continuously)
Is it okay to operate in that temp? or whether there is any problem with my box?
If I put some holes on the backside of the box, will the temp. will reduce a bit?

for the first problem...you have to go in settings display, and enable force land.

For number 2- It runs hot quick mod is to make sure tape installed correctly and then to see that contacts plate. Because it has a big piece of metal above cpu i was thinking doing cooling mod think the coolme and Yoka seem to have same issues as these ones. Quick mod might be easiest cure... Ill try a few options and post the best one.
