UPDATE:

Just received the OTA update - GT1_104M0. First impressions:
1. The device is now rooted
2. The annoying green flickering seems to be fixed. Need to test it further to confirm.
3. The video brightness is now fine.

ISSUES:
1. DTS sound - failed to play with passthrough enabled both SPDIF and HDMI in Kodi/SPMC.
2. HD Audio on all sound formats still not available. Must note that all sound formats work fine with the integrated MoviePlayer !!!
3. HEVC encoded videos - 10bits / 1080p - still broken image with green parts all over.

Will examine further and post results if interested.

Did you tested DTS sound via MX player?
Better result in Antutu video test?

plasma MX Player doesnt play DTS as well - tried HW+, HW, Soft - No go!

jaivelu I might test the wifi speed and see the driver version. I usually dont game so probably will not make any test on FPS etc. Will run the antutu tests though.


Btw I just saw the admin on beelink forum post regarding the new update:

Beelink mention before no bug fix in this release hence no fix for green flickering and video brightness. My side after update still same no improvement.

Pls keep in mind some users at 4PDA forum reported system hang after OTA update. Might be just a random case but anyway be warned.

I can confirm that for the last 3 hours I didnt notice the green flickering issue with this box. Mine is connected directly to AV receiver, so dont know if that might be a reason not to observe the above mentioned problem.
Antutu gets only 38k - 3D 9153, UX 12877, CPU 13000, RAM 3330 - seems to me the chip is not utilized very well in software. Rather disappointing but might get better with the time.

Some guys reporting HEVC videos being played correctly , but not my case. Might try another differently encoded and see if any difference.

I upload my DMESG info, might be of some use for devs.

In the meantime - expect no other update till mid of October. Ze Chinese are celebrating till 10th.

Also i ve noticed that if you see something in one addon and stop to go to other addon then kodi closed?
Has anyone have the same issue?

This update wasn't meant to fix dark and green flickering yet. Need to wait next update
