I have spmc on my GT1 and no issues with crashing.. I also have a Nexbox A5 with the s905x and SPMC installed and it crashes a lot. I'm working on figuring that issue out so I will let you know if I come up with anything. We also need to get root on the GT1

I am going to wait for a good rom to come down the line for this box. I think that's the problem at the moment. Its still a new box witch need some tweaks.

The Issues we where talking about are on the Nexbox A5 .. The Beelink GT1 has been work great so far. It plays everything I have thrown at it , GREAT BOX SO FAR!!!

Yes but with the Beelink GT1 i think there is some heat issues. Mine gets quite hot after a wile. Im still waiting for my 1" by 5mm heat sink & thermal pads to arrive. PS. I no but im all so on about the acemax box that i have as well. The ace max box is a solid build box, But SBMC crashes all lot on this box as well. As for SBMC being on the Beelink box, Iv had no issues with it. So it must be a software problem.

Like i said in another post. Iv even thinking of drilling some holes in the base of the beelink with some higher feet on the bottom for ventilation.

Did you try posting our log on spmc github page. We are prolly better off just running reg kodi instead of spmc on our A5's

I tell you wot. I did not notice till yesterday. I have my beelink gt1 connected to my 1080p projector, & i have noticed that while in kodi, it seems very dark. Its the same with my Acmax box as well. Is it like that on the s905 box as well. I have tried the newer version of S.B.M.C & the pic is grate but it keeps crashing all the time. Any suggestions any one. Thanks.

Same issue for me, Dark Picture with the GT1 and also crashing with SPMC. No issues with any of my other S905 boxes, so not sure if its a s912 issue or a issue specific to the GT1.

Yes i am currently just using kodi. The SPMC issue isnt really a big one for me. My main problem is the darkness of the picture, the darkness issue is system wide not just in kodi so effects other apps i use aswell.

Is it dark for you on both the Stock firmware and the modded?

Well here is my heat issue mods i have done to the beelink GT1. I have gone down the road of using thermal pads because the metal plate on the bottom base will conduct heat a bit better due to the thickness of the plate. Here are some pics. sorry, It wont let me upload pics it keeps saying that, extension of this file did not match the content.... Any way. I have put 1" by 1mm thermal pad on the underside of the heat shield & the same on top of the heat shield & the thermal pads are defiantly touching the metal plate. I have all so drilled 4 3mm holes in the bottom cover for a bit of air to get in. I have put larger feet on the bottom for circulation. Don't worry about the holes in the bottom because you will never see them.

Got this box last week from gearbest runs fine on most android apps.
OTA updated from September firmware. crushed once when i watch Youtube (frozen ) .
But Kodi come with the box gave me Video playback micro-stuttes (720p 1080p), should i try spmc or disabled libstagefright maybe?
