But it have a very anoying bug. The optical output with dts sound works but gives drops every 10 seconds. Appears the bug with s905. This is happening in kodi 16.1 and SPMC. Tried multiple configurations. But same issue. This is a really big bug. Can someone test it?

Hi guys, I've had this box 2 days now, upgraded from my MxIII Mini because I wanted the 5GHz wifi and I like Beelinks build quality...
That said, I'm having a really stupid green flash on the screen every so often, initially I thought I had a dodgy source in Kodi but having sat just at the menu in SPMC for approx 5mins now, I've seen this green flash ever so often without it even doing anything so I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this?

Mxplayer says no dts supported.
But on the pré installed movie player it works fine no drops in the sound. Only in kodi in dts. In DD no problem.
The s905 the bug was fixed.
Dont know in the s905x ans s912....

Hi all,
My 2 cents on the Beelink GT1 box:
General impressions - the overall build box is fine, doesn't get too warm for about 10 yours of work but using better thermal pad as posted here above might be a good idea.
Network: With gigabit connection I get aprox 20 MB/s transfer speed over smb network from my NAS which is lower than expected, with wifi AC - i can only get max 5 MB/s, did not test the N because the 2.4 ghz spectrum is really crowded here, but probably will have to check if the pins on the board are well connected.
Audio: Kodi/SPMC - runs quite fast but was unable to get the DTS audio working , no matter which passtrough i choose - RAW or IEC. DD is working fine. The strange thing for me is that the build in MoviePlayer managed to get the multichannel audio on all files tried including Dolby TRUEHD and DTS-HD, so obviously the problem is software related. Fingers crossed this issues to be solved with the new builds of SPMC by Koying or maybe even Libreelec version by kszaq if he start working on the s912 chip.
Video: as posted the image is too dark, putting brightness on 60% in kodi seems to be ok for me, but I do also have the nasty green flashes on a random bases. still cant solve what triggers it - some videos play normal, with others i have it 1 or 2 times within a minute. Frame rate switching doesn't work either. Did try some 4k content on my 1080p plasma - no issues. HEVC content runs smooth as well.
Netflix - as mentioned by other users the box doesnt have the necessary DRM certification to run multichannel audio, so - no joy here.
Other than that the GT1 has a lot of potential. Coming from the S805 stick with Libreelec build i can feel the difference in performance , but probably we'll need a few months before making the most of the box.
There is no sp00n ...

Go to SBMC web site & download sbmc, It will give you the latest 1. After you have downloaded sbmc install it as any other apk app. You will find your download in the download folder in Es File manager.
Tnx man,btw the thermal pads you used, where did you get them?
