I can confirm it's working exceptionally well after that fix. I've been running it for almost 4 hours, no force closes or weird issues running Kodi. Thanks kaivish!!! Today made 2 weeks since I received them and I've been at a loss.

HOWEVER, I do get what I think is a "jump in frame rate" in most videos, live or not. Video jumps about every half second but audo stays consistent. Any help?

Is their some secret way of getting the file posted for the fix? All i get is a blank page with "file station" header and nothing else.

it can be because of many things. not formware related. slow intertet. try rebooting router. slow caching. too many backgrng processes. video seems fine here. tried 720p,1080p,4k, 5.1audio movie,movie with dts/dts-hd. all seems to work just fine.

go to settings, set it to expert, then to video, then to acceleration, the look for hardware acceleration with amcodec. swith this off. exit kodi and clear memory. restart kodi and Voila. its fixed. I have been looking to someone who has an ftp server where i can upload the 800mb firmware i got from the manufacturer of the box. as soon as i can get a place ot upload it i will share the link here. just need a ftp server. Anyone??

That link in the Electroman Post #2 is for root tester and not for the Firmware.
I have also tried the Tanix TX 5 Pro firmware which works ok but the Language Problem is still the same.
I am surprised no one else is complaining about the Language changing to Chinese on every reboot.

In settings --> hdmi sec --> auto change language --> select no

I found it. It was stock rom with img file which Iflash with usb tool
