Hello,
I have this box also, and was wondering if I could add Bluetooth capabilities.
Have tried two BT USB dongle (CSR 2 and CSR 4.0) without success.
According to dmesg, the bluetooth stack is here, si the BT dongle driver's should'nt be there... any hint welcome !
Also I have an anoying problem :
I haven't found a way to mount an external USB hard drive as Read/Write (only root can write to it).
Tried several filesystem (ext2, ext4, ntfs, exFat) without success. (I don't want Fat32 due to 4Gb filesize limit).
Also tried to change rights, manual mount via ssh/adb, no success either.
It's a pitty as Kodi can't download to my external HD.
You are warmly welcome to help me !

Is there anyway to add SMB network sharing of USB HDD to Android Box X96 by Xgody? (not by dodgy apps that most dont work or are buggy)
I want to have local hdd accessible over the network with guest access so i can move downoaded movies etc aross the network to the hdd plugged into the X96 box usb ports, and also be able to delete these files onces played.
Temporary i have added the usb drive to my adsl modem and shared that on the network, this works fine except the very slow USB network speed (even though its a new tp-link vr600 model modem 4 port 1gig network) X96 can add this as a video source in Kodi 16.1 fine.

Hey everyone, i only read the first few pages so my apologies if its already been said.
I have just flashed my x96 with NEXBOX A95X firmware and it worked fine on my other 905x android box and cant see why not on this box, you will lose use of the remote control (have a mouse or sky remote at hand) and have to replace the remote.conf, the one i have that works everything but the home button works, i haven't looked for another 1 yet but its starting to annoy me so i will soon, i have an air remote that the home button still works on so its probably just a matter of correcting the remote.conf, if i can find out where and how?! Or just try to find some others is probably easier.
It will start up and look as though it is a nexbox a95x but its a nice looking, well set out, editable frontpage.
I put all 3 files out of the top folder (not the sd & usb tools) on the root an sd card, held down the switch in the av port for a couple of seconds and it started the update straight away.
I am currently setting the build up the way i want it, deleting apps, iptv, kodi etc.

I flashed the X96 with the Nexbox A95X firmware, they both use the same processor...it works fantastic, the remote is easy enough to get working again except the home button, as i said above.
I am pretty sure there is no bluetooth built in to the x96, if you mean to add support then you never know? the "new.different" firmware might have the bluetooth drivers included, the only true way to be sure is to build your own firmware...

Btw. would you mind to share your remote controller config file?
If you find a fully working 1 with working home then please post a link or the file here and don't do what i did,
delete the 1's that don't work so it doesn't get confusing if you need to use it again.
