Thats just wierd. Did you try putting it into mask mode by shorting pins? And flashing the 2 gig version?

I am using the Amlogic USB Burning Tool with IMG files which are all supposed to be 2gb versions

Ok I find that this possible just flashed a 2 /16 and its now 1/8 so trying to find a solution to switch it back to 2/16 now.........Think firmware released is 1/8 only not 2/16

Nope.... I seen a few posts and friend got 2 in so i borrowed one tested it on stock 2/16 the system was working. I double checked that it was in fact 2 /16 3 times before flashing the only stock version i could find of firmware. Right after flash its was 1/8 so its for sure a software issue new nan i never see before so finishing mask mode not fun. But i have yet to find a firmware that switches it back to 2/16.... So your not crazy lol or alone

Yes after find issue Ok progress that firmware you sent me allow me to have 2 gig but still only 8 gig memory so one step closer now.....

Ok have to find out why 16 flash as 8 ill see if emmc can be re flashed to 16 its not normal it reverts to 1/8 any firmware flash...

Got the 2 gig back have to hook up to linux machine to see whats going on re the 16 but found 3 short pins that put it into flash mode but no mask mode.
