Thats part of the issues with this box as any other software bricks it from usb burn tool (cant be seen without pin reset) Try the one i sent you pm and see if it flashes ok. Developer trying to help us out so testers needed because both mine been flashed so many times dont trust results. I try another way this week as well and see if that route keeps loader seen in flash tool.

Ok managed to install the Rom.

Verdict :
Led still red when box on
remote not working AT all.
I have no mouse to try.

PS: lol at commodore 64 it's my generation.
PS2 : I tried to test KEVIN's rom too but the link is broken , the download never finish after 70%

Well, I tell you my experience with this new firmware (short, the girl is still awake) ...

Previemente had (rom scooters), the only problem has been to flash the ROM, USB Burnning Tool did not recognize the device in any way.

Finally I followed the steps indicated in the thread more a little luck:

1) Open USB Burnning Tool, select IMG and press START.
2) With the device connected to the electricity and with the USB in port 4, I connect it to the PC. (Any result)
3) Making the bridge in the Pines of Kevin's image causes a Beep, but nothing happens. Finally I begin to bridge all the Pines and in 11/12 seems to make a restart (the red led goes out), but does not load.
4) With the tip of a screwdriver and very carefully step through all the pins on that side of the chip and the firmware starts loading !!! Yuhuuuuu

As far as ROM is concerned, it is very beautiful, congratulations !!! I have not had time to prove more però so above say just a mistake in google PLay but that has not given more problem than closing the alert.

Wifi well the same as before.

Turn on / off with the knob (I use a Bluethooth with USB) still does not work, well, turn it off but then it does not turn on.

The bottom bar now works as it should !!! XDDDD

Ok thanks for testing. I let neo know issues thanks. It least it booted for you wouldnt load on mine. So device still bricked on flash and works ok for you.

Hi, in first Rom, at connect the hdmi in tv, the v88 stars, as well. But in this Rom is inverse, the v88 stops. At this moment, only restarts at off/on power cable.

Other question, new rom updates are revives via OTA or usb burning too?. Tks.

If your smartphone has IR I have good news, download the Mi REmote app and select the BOX Mygica, with that turn on the SmartBox v88 pro.

If you have on/off problems when switching HDMI or TV, try change the settings of your TV.

You can also try the Cafeine app to keep the Box always on.

I really like how it works, but I have a problem. How can i use miracast?

I bought this device to do two things ... See Netfix and "Project" or share my cell with the TV. (The lack of Smart TV) ...

Is there any way to enable Miracast? The original firmware (yes, the one that hangs and fails Google Play) had that option ...

Doing some reading and apparently this box might work with Xannytechs firmware, as the Beelink Mini M8S II firmware works perfectly on it, as per some posts on cnxsoft. It's late here, can't sleep ha. I haven't got the box yet, but I will still let you know when I do.
