I put the Superceleron firmware on my T95K Pro box ages ago and now want to put the latest 1015 firmware on BUT both the usb tool and sdcard methods will not work, the box boots as normal and won't detect the upgrade file. Its like theres no por/atr . Can anybody shed any light as to whats wrong here?

My fault, I forgot about the hidden reset button. However after the upgrade I've lost all Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity.

That is strange. I updated both of my T95k boxes using both methods. Have you tried doing a factory reset first?

            I didn't Factory reset.

Maybe I'll try refashing again to see if it gets them back

Problem cured... I reflashed the original firmware. Wifi / Bluetooth worked. reflashed v1015, NO Wifi / Bluetooth Flashed with v1013 and the Wifi / Bluetooth worked so maybe the v1015 Firmware has an issue with it.

Hello guys, i need some dire help.

                i have a 3G 32GB variant with AP6255.

my wifi was broken hence i browsed thru and was flashing the firmwares using tooth pick method.

1st attempt. - my recovery didnt boot at all. no HDMI signal was going to the TV

2nd attempt - managed to boot to recovery and flashed the firmware. wifi was not fixed.

3rd attempt onwards i could never get into recovery.

looks like my sd card marker is missing some boot files.

appreciate someone could guide me the extact steps and files i need for recovery to work.

I'm not sure what box you have but I use the USB update method using usb burning tool v2.08
Dont have anything connected to your box

                  1. Open usb burning tool
                  2. From 2nd dropdown menu select english
                  3. Load your .img file and wait until it loads
                  4. Have Usb A to Usb A lead ready connected to pc
                  5. Press hidden reset button an hold it
                  6. Connect usb cable to rear usb port on box
                  7. Wait for connected message (still hold reset)
                  8. Apply power to box and release the reset button
                  9. Press start in the tool and wait until 'success' appears in green
                  10. Unplug box and close tool

IMPORTANT: Make sure that you have the correct file for your box

Hi I went for a fresh reinstall of this rom recently and have a couple of questions regarding wireless settings.

1/ I use Ethernet but every time I switch on my T95z in settings network the wifi device switch is enabled, this reoccurs after turning this off "is there a permanent fix for this"!

2/ In device network Ethernet connected, Advanced options, IP setting static DCHP is highlighted not static? Is this normal?
Note this is after successfully saving my static IP settings.

                    Ed.

Any idea if this will give my box USB Hard drive support? I have two android boxes... One will recognize the the external HD, but has no bluetooth, and the other (this one), has bluetooth but will not recognize an external HD. It WILL notice a UBB drive stick... Just not an external "big" HD. Not sure if that is a software thing, or a hardware thing.

Have you tried using an external usb hub with the hdd plugged into it?

I really need it to be powered from the box. It is actually a setup for in my RV so I need it to work that way. ONE of my boxes does this just fine, but has no bluetooth. So I am not sure with THIS box if it is a software thing? Or I suspect it may be a "power" thing and thus a hardware problem.

I just need to make one box have bluetooth or the other recognize an external HD. I wish I could just squish them together!

Well... so THAT made matters worse. I had a powered USB hub. I plugged the powered hub in and it must have sent electricity THROUGH all the USB ports on the device because now my airmouse remote is fried, as well as my Logitech wireless keyboard and my brand new 4TB external drive. The good news? My crappy $40 Android box seems fine, I just lost $300 worth of the rest of the stuff!

That doesn't make any sense at all.
