leolas test kernel for k-r42?

havent got the DTS working yet, should it work with MX Player ?

im using MX Player Pro and grabbed that latest codec from xda forum

just played a 1080p videofile and network seemed stable, but sometimes it looks like it skips frames during playback

I have a USB power Hub and I can Plug my Mouse/Keyboard Device Into it and it works Fine.
Or I can Plug the USB Hard drive in to the Hub only and The Player works fine ... But When I plug My USB Hard drive Into The Powered USB Hub and the Keyboard/Mouse and Hard drive Both Stop working ...

My guess is the hub isn't providing enough power for everything and the usb port in the android device is probably too weak to make up for the lack in power. Also usb can be flakey, I've had the same device and cable work on one computer port and not another...

First thanks wasser for your help, I was triying to compile a working kernel for the k-r42 with 1080p and 720p with video fix, but the bigger problem is that without the device I cant advance fast enought. If I can help you in anything only tell me and I will try to help. If you want, you can use my github to take the kernel sources I use in:https://github.com/leolas/ANDROID-KERNEL-QX1
You need to change in arch/arm/board-rk3188-box.c:

1) The default Little Remote does NOT work with ok Button any more
2) The Menu Button on the Remote does NOT work any more ...
3) Check Auto Hide System Bar on display and it will never go away ...
Hit the >> down on the screen and it just pops backup and will never go away ...

4) usb Keyboard's Enter key work Fine.

some questions for patient experts :

1. dts fix mean dts passthrough? because my old version MX Player was already decoding it?
2. Rockchips HomeMedia was good to control it with my cell , how can i install it?
3. I guess Wifi Display need same program to be installed on the phone to work, i got it via root explorer and tried to install to my phone but failed , any other way you can recommend?

Hello albatros79,

You do NOT need wifi on the player only on the phone and both need to be on same network ...(so either ethernet or wifi will work But you do NOT need both turned on one or the other) ...

Download Latest Firmware and Unzip it ...

In the Folder Called "Orig apps" On your PC you will Find the two apps You need .

On The Player Load the eHomeMediaCenter_box.apk
On You phone Load RKGameControlSettingV1.0.1.apk(Via Wifi )

Then I always Reboot ...

I think that answers Your Remote Control App Question .. Others will have to help you with The Other Question ..

i just reflashed your rom, and now Ethernet works ....... i dont get it anymore whahahahahaha flashed the rom few times last week and it didnt worked

Mine is still not working after I flashed 1.2.0. Not sure why as well. Anyone can help? Thanks in advance. I was having the same symptoms as LeXXoZ. eth0 is showed as up, but it is not able to get an IP address. Setting a static IP address does not help as well.
