PrebuiltGmsCorePano has a lot to do with the google cast problem, security checks, think I heard.

it holds the main lib for it to function

    libjgcastservice.so
    libgcastv2_support.so
    libgcastv2_base.so

there was a project to make it work on anything until it was killed by play services
UPDATE 27th November 2014 I have added an Xposed module for the clients below that will work around the issue with Google Play services 6.5 :) UPDATE 25th November 2014 Google have released Google Play services 6.5 which has strengthened...

The virtual ATV remote uses the remote submix, as well as Google Cast. From what I've seen, the remote submix is handled in libaudio, both for input (what I look for) and output (what is used for Google Cast).

But if the ATV Remote App works with your ROM, there must be something that I did wrong.

unsure about what your trying to do, but for the remote to work on a stock rom you just need (from the zip i attached)

        AtvRemoteService.apk in system/priv-app
        libatv_uinputbridge.so in system/lib

99% of ATV code is already there just needs few config changes and ATV Gapps

play services 6.5 update killed google cast receiver been used on non official ATV as far as i know

What I would like to do is to emulate a microphone using the remote submix, like what the AtvRemoteService app does (AudioBridge class) using audio from the Android TV Remote app.

edit : I succeeded with the Nougat Android TV ROM. It doesn't work with the regular Android ROM.

So I have an T95ZPLUS with The amlogic S912. I tried to do an update following this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfMqHh6k3VM
Then my WiFi stopped working. So I been looking and seems I have wrong drivers for WiFi module. I took box apart and it has the SM63352810 IT-A3 in.
I been reading through the thread at it seems there's a solution, but it's not clear to me on what to do to get it fixed.
            Any help will be appreciated.

              Hi Magendanz!
Is it worth to change the normal a912 gt1 (2+16) to an ultimate (3+32) /with very small overplus/?
Support, libreelec difference point of view... not the speed of course (i know it has the ddr4, more memory..)
              Any disadvantages?
              Thanks

No, my only complaint about the GT1 Ultimate is that they shipped with so many different parts and PCB revisions. It made for very challenging development and testing efforts, trying to target all those permutations. Models like the M8S Pro had similar specs with consistent parts and better OEM firmware (and the M8S Pro L even has Widevine L1 support).

What about wifi/bt support with LE? I know we can add usb devices if needed but that would be good if chip was supported...

I know practically nothing about LibreELEC, and so you'll need to ask wrxtasy or one of the other LE enthusiasts about that.

It seems we've gone quite off-topic. Please limit your discussion here to this Android TV custom ROM for the Beelink GT1.

Magendanz does this give true 4k output? Ive read that regukar android os isnt capable of true 4k and i just got a 4k tv and am looking to see if this adds true 4k output to attempt to flash it on a box i have that has the same hardware. Dont want to though unless you can confirm true 4k output. Im a bit new ay flashing firmware but know enough to go through the process.

I don't have a 4K set to confirm, but I hear from others that 4K video output works fine. The UI, however, is running in FHD, so you won't see 4K crisp text and graphics. Only the video codec will take advantage of the higher resolution.

Yeah, i tried it out myself with some test files. No luck on true rk output with videos unfortunately. Maybe this is something that needs more work? I noticed other roms and boxes I've tried don't put out true 4k so maybe its a software issue? I know the hardware is capable of trully putting out 4k. None the less these roms and firmwares on here are all great.
