Here is the resource file with keys for your Trosmart Rk3368 Meta Remote & a small easter egg. Just flash with Android Tool over my V2.0 FSE rom. Rename to resource.img > copy to image folder, or change the path to the file > [x] check only resource file >> flash ....... enjoy

I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I will check MyVidster again in the next days. But I'm pretty sure that rewind and fast forward worked pretty good for me with MXPlayer, But the first time I tried to play a video, I got a message by MXPlayer, to install also the NEON codec. And for each video I tried to use fast forward it failed always the first time. But MXPlayer reloads the video automatically and then I had perfect rewind & fast forward with left & right buttons of my remote control. So in case your remote works right now, try it gain.

The only thing that does not work is the OK button.

The blue light on does not stay steady blue.

Use the flash recovery, to flash the resource. I did not have to change the name.

Note that the TWRP version is obsolete. It does not allow me to read usb otg files. I had to use the sd card

Here is a full instruction on how to redefine any key of your remote control. keyboard or gamepad.

One important infoŕmation about the "OK"key.
Old bad developed NON ATV android apps, use "ENTER" only as OK. But this is deprecated when using ATV and ATV apps. ATV roms & apps use "DPAD_CENTER" as OK and support mostly also "enter" for more downward compatibility. So this means when U set "DPAD_CENTER" as "OK", in some cases the OK will not work with older non ATV apps. But when you set "ENTER" as "OK", new ATV apps will not work properly. In my ROM "OK" is set as "DPAD_CENTER".



I didn't saw any LED setting within the Tronsmart resource file, so I think the LED is included somehow directly to the Kernel.
Here you can download the Tronsmart and the Z4 Kernel I use. So you can try to change it with TWRP and revert it in case the LED will still not work.

Some of your may already notice that Shomori has taken a break. How long? Nobody knows. Because of that, I will stop also all my work on my V3.0 GSE (Shomari OC & T8C ready) ROM for now.

Instead I will focus my work now on another V2.x speed and feature update.
Therefor I will give you right now some test instructions, to get proper test results to compare.

As the name of this app already says. This beast will stress all cpu cores to its limit (100% CPU load). It’s also capable to run in back round, so we are still able to do things on the box, during the 100% CPU load. So perfect to check the cpu power, compared to its load and heat in detail.

Until now I didn’'t find any tool to show the real CPU temperature. So please help to find a tool that didn’'t show values like 2-3 °C / 35-37 °F, or fake values that do never match compared with checking the temperature with your hand. THX

These are synthetic Benchmark tools, to compare our result, to see who has the fastest (Z4) "car in town".
It is also important to see your benchmark results. Especial to check if there is any huge range of quality hardware build for these boxes. Slower, faster or all nearly at the same speed!?. Because my box, seems to bee a pretty slow build. Because I get always only 30000 (overall) @ AnTuTu 6.3.3, with my current V2.0 FSE rom. But others reported already vales up to 34000 with that version to me. So please test it on your own and share your results. THX

This is The Swiss Army Knife when it comes to the Kernel and CPU and all its features and potential. Within your hands, easy to handle, as you never have been seen before!? Ha ha ha, I’m not joking. But it sounds a bit funny. Like a reseller of the app. But as I said before, all apps are for free @ Google Play store. And If you like this app and you want to use it also in future. Please be so kind and say thanks to the developer and buy this additional cheap app [ROOT] Kernel Auditor Don. This will also deactivate the advertisement within the Kernel Auditor (root) app. BTW this app will work on any rooted mobile, tablet or ATV.

• Kernel Auditor (Root)

This tool has so many features! But right now I will concentrate only to its CPU features. Because there you can change the CPU Cluster min/max frequency and the Governor on the fly. And you can even disable each CPU individually. So perfect to check the real power of each core of the CPU.





The first speed update is already available and It's called "Turbo Boost 1600"
To activate the boost with my current V2.0 FSE ROM, you just have to flash the following "KRS 1.0.0" resource file withe the help of Android Tool or TWRP.

Android Tool: rename the *.img file to resource.img > copy to Android Tool folder "image" >> [x] check only resource file >> flash with USB cable / bootloader activated
(to activate the bootloader press reset button while USB is already connected to your PC).

I‘m sorry, but this will never happen. I will tell you also why I only make android TV (ATV) ROMs. The first time I used my SONY 4K ATV in 2015, I was totally shocked about Google ATV. No launcher customizing, no wallpapers, no root and so many apps I used before, that didn‘t work anymore. Or must be side loaded. But even after I side loaded them, no launcher icon on the home screen. And ATV has no task manger. Or let‘s say, no task manager we are already familiar with (Tip: The ATV task manager can be found @ Settings >> Apps: running apps). So a lot of reasons to hate ATV. But Kodi was working. That‘s one of the main reasons why I bought a Sony android TV. And in addition. My wive was also always complaining about all those additional cables and devices, I had to use before. Now our living room is pretty clean. Just the big screen TV attached to the wall and a few cables, covered by a tiny cable duct. To get a proper surround sound. Anyhow. Lets get back to the main topic. From thereon I was forced to use Google ATV in my living room. And what should I say. After a while I understood why Google made the decision, to force us to us the ATV leanback launcher on a certificated android TV. It's a perfect leanback concept. Just leanback to the couch, with your tiny mic powered remote control to enjoy the essence of it, watching movies. And when it comes to typing, I just talk instead of using my addition Rii 8 mini keyboard. It‘s much, much, faster then typing and it works mostly pretty well. I‘m definitely not a ATV fan boy. But right now I love ATV, much, much, more then the common android launchers. I still use on my (touch) mobile and tablet. Where those launchers makes much more sense, then on a TV. Because of the touch interface.

It's always up to all of you, what do you prefer most as launcher on your TV. If you don't like my ATV ROM, nobody forces you to use it. But I'm pretty sure you will get friends, when U start using it. And as more users start using a ATV device, as more ATV apps we will get. Because when I start using my SONY ATV in 2015, those ATV apps where pretty rare. But in the last few month, there are more and more good ATV apps available. And I‘m also pretty sure, that the most of you, are already using only the YouTube ATV version. Instead of the touche one. Where you still have to use a mouse. Because those leanback ATV apps make much more sense on a TV, like the Google ATV leanback launcher. Even I’m still looking for a way to get my own, more black orientated wallpaper . And I also notice on my own behavior. If there is a good non ATV app, where I still have to use my Rii mini Keyboard and its touch pad. I stop using the app on my TV and android boxes. And I start searching for a comparable ATV app. Where I just have to use my tiny remote and a mic.

I‘m also always pretty future orientated and as I mentioned already. For me the Googles leanback ATV concept makes the most sense on a TV. Anything else is in my point of view medieval, I‘m no longer interested in, when it comes to a TV.

But the good thing for all of you medieval fans. There are still enough non ATV ROM's available. And when it comes to a good and also fast NON ATV Z4 RK3368 ROM, where you still have to use a mouse and keyboard. I recommend Shomari T8C/OC ROM. It’s even faster then my ROM, when using a more powerful power adapter.

A lot of text … ha ha ha … to say … I’m sorry. But I’m not interested in creating things I do not believe in.

Now I have to go back to my family. BTW … I hope my wive, kids and the dog will give me enough time, so could release V2.5 BRE already this weekend.

Hello. Thanks for the great work. I noticed if you install kodi 17.1 the voice is out of sync. The Ugoo Kodi on 16.1 works just fine.

... when you say 'both versions', both versions of what? Looks like you're the only one that's reported that issue, and I told you if it's an issue I can advise cOOLio of the fix. But if you uninstalled 'it', whatever 'it' is, suit yourself.
