yes , i tried every rom in this site that claim to be suitable for J22.
got the same thing u said.
went back to stock.

I had this problem with stock ROM and kernel. When flashed any of these posted here - problem gone.

tried all of them, they give me blinking screen, loosing output every 2-3 sec

i have many J22 stick and i have tried all firmware in internet i think!!
i thinks that the black screen is a problem with TV and styck.
that same stick on old plasma tv is ok... but in a new led tv give black screen...
for now there isn't a solution....
otherthing... if you flash many time same firmware... you will have always different results with black screen...

cant get it throu checking stops at 12xxx something every time, guess i try downloading it again.

edit: ok its not rock solid, its flickering a bit, does not seem stable.


so what changed from the bundled firmware to flashing roms/kernels from here?

Can I just flash different kernels or should I replace everything every time I flash?

You don't need flash everything. Only ticked kernel will be enough.

yes...you can flash only kernel
BUT in 5% or so it will not boot ! (in my case...)
then just reflash kernel or try other kernel !
